Aircrafts should be always highlighted for Aircrafts
Air-air combat is non-existent. It always looks like - Who first spotted enemy will always win, just hide behind enemy and wait until he goes to ammo point
You never know when enemy aircraft respawned, until you:
A) spot them during bombing-suiciding
B) realize that he’s right behind you at ammo point
Aircrafts should be always marked to made air-air comabt even, at this point it’s non-existent or total garbage

i hope you realize that that means for the german fighter the BF 109 g6 is dead the second any allied fighter spawns in because they have big fucking mk while he has no armore and is mostly fucked by the first hits and you cant forget at least in the normandy campaigne i as a fighter pilot need to fight alone against an emey bomber with good weapons AND a enemy fighter always so the americans always have the air

I would say I win 90% of my encounters when the enemy is on my 6 o’clock. If you had any previous experience from war thunder/DCS etc. you should be able to juke. Use flaps and reduce engine power and make them overshoot while you dive/dodge sacrifice altitude. Most if the time they will overshoot.

But if you are not a competent pilot and have experience with this you are pretty much dead. So if you want to be a good pilot, go on youtube and learn from good simpilots then practice.

but not mutch tricks help you in a 2 vs 1 situtaion if you are alone against them

Except this is not WT and I’ve seen few people doing tricks like you, I just shoot you down faster. The reason for that is because here you can confidently shoot at over 1km and get hits. I haven’t seen anything like gun convergence on any of the planes, you need to worry only about bullet drop. If someone is slowing doing, you just slow down too and keep shooting.

That is a terrible suggestion. I propose to do exactly the opposite, remove aiming and regular markers all together. This will stop endless loopty-loops with fighters.

The term “Tunnel vision” has existed in War Thunder for a reason.
Planes should not be highlighted, but rather you should take your time to find enemy aircraft. It’s not hard if you try to scout the area. Fly sideways and look for dots near the battlefield.
Planes haven’t had markers in Ground Battles RB for years and noone has even had issues about it.

On top of that you can hear them miles away. You can hear someone spawn all the way from resupply point.

Removing indicators will do an opposite thing, players will don not give a shit about air-air combat, they will just keep bombing

90% of players on the map already can do nothing against planes except during the 5 seconds they are within range of small-arms fire during a bombing run before pulling away again.

Don’t make it even more difficult for newbie fighter pilots to make themselves useful and shoot down enemy planes… then the rest of the ground troops will be stuck with the enemy bomber forever.

Well, air combat always had high skill gaps, thats how it is kiddo.

They need to do a lot of improvments of course, but air is supposed to be high risk high reward. In real dogfights newbies have no place. - That’s what the training area is for.

If you cant manage to fly, get an AA going and wait for the BIG A55 sound of a plane coming in straight line.

1 shot to the flap=Dead plane

in the terms of war, basic strategy was hide and observe- notice it and shoot!!

I get plenty of people to overshoot me, obviously you cant make it easy for them. Pilot stamina also helps, a low speed turn will make them black out. There is plenty to do but you are still at a disadvantage with someone on you 6 o’clock. I win more than I loose. Maybe you are one of them I loose to. 2 equally skilled pilots and the one with a baddie in the rear will loose. Anyway, your suggestion to remove lead marker and and enemy marker. I like that.

Besides, I shoot targets from over 1 km in warthunder as well. Airplanes with fuselage mounted guns has very low effect from gun convergence :grinning:

Shooting planes actually provides far less exp than bombing

Don’t agree, ask Erich Hartmann if he agrees. Tactical awareness is key in everything. Should infantry be highlighted to infantry? Rendering distance should be improved so it is easier to spot aircraft but not with markers.

Most people don’t know how to fly aircraft. They mainly figured out oh I can suicide bomb and get few kills and their skill on the matter ends there.

I have not played FPS for some 10 years. Are my Bolt Action skills rusty? Yes they are, but that is my own fault.

But I cant say the same for flying:

Agree. They should remove the lead marker and make your guns overheat and jam if you spray and pray.

It’s not that you are flying circles if no enemy planes are present. You still have bombs in your fighter and can benefit from both worlds.

but no much tricks when u have 2 tanks on field and u are alone, u can kill one but other one kill u…
same is with soldiers if dont see them att the time
