Aircraft suspended weapon rebalance (sent back for rework)

It’s very logical: They nerf one thing to create an “incentive” for you to buy something else. This will never end! Expect nerfs ad infinitum into the future.

This seems like illogical thinking by them. But ultimately look at the end result- Less planes can be shot down, and now, less kills can be had by players in planes- less kills for everyone. i.e. less XP for everyone, more money spent

I can’t understand every topic and mechanics.

There were premium planes on this list - and the guys and I canceled their nerf. So yes, we worked with him too.

Just ignorn the fucking request for these game destroyinging nerfs. The majority of us are happy. Theres a weapon to counter every other weapons.

Honestly theses idiots can simply put - fuck off to CoD or BF if their run and gun attempts are being halted by ‘spam’

Planes needed a rebalance rather sooner than later, having the entire point being instantly killed isn’t really a fun experience.
So right now you need to tweak the planes a little bit , until a better solution is found , it can be done with other clever means, like nerfing shrapnel , but that’s quite a big impact in gameplay.
So editing plane weapons is one of the less time consuming options, and it doesn’t exclude the possibility of custom loadouts in the future

Result: Some Soviet planes are the only few that received actual buffs, every other nations only got nerf. :laughing:

There is something called AA gun. You know, that thing which you nerfed into ground a couple of weekd ago.

And after Keo admitting that you didnt nerf premium planes, I dont buy that excuse.

I’d rather be instantly vaporized by planes 9 times out of 10 than AOE’d by some mushbrain that threw twenty-seven WP grenades on me after refraining from even touching his firearm since its a vestigial appendage with that grenade loadout

Running a fighter is much more expedient than an AA
Both in conjunction with each other is ever better

20+ frags in 1 go then over a minute to re-arm and return. Air strikes should be powerful. A well timed, well executed air strike should be blunting an attack or heavily damaging defences on a point. That’s before you take into account hunting tanks. Planes take a long time between attacks so attacks should have the potential to hit hard.

However.

Can you explain things like Tunisia, where bf110 loses it’s tank killing use, while allies… Beaufighter AND A20 retain God tier amount of bombs and rockets? Because we can clear point with those, right?

Why Tunisia Stuka got nerfed, but allies counterpart keeps it’s 1000lb bomb?

What logic is this?

There are too many tanks in the game that need to be countered by planes, but the damage of bombs to tanks is very limited. Even a 250kg bomb must explode within 5 meters or even 3 meters for some tanks with slightly thicker armor to destroy tanks. A 100kg bomb is even worse, and a 50kg bomb must hit directly (of course, even if it hits the tank, it will run away, and it is almost impossible to achieve such accuracy by high-altitude bombing).
The problem is simple. The anti-tank capability of the 50kg bomb needs to be enhanced, otherwise replacing other bombs with it is no different from destroying this plane.

i will just say what i learned in uni and from some work experience. statistics is a science of misinterpreting data. if you have narrative you can always find data from statistics that can justify that narrative.

you will probably find that only some 20-30% of users use planes and they are usually above average in the game. and then use that data across whole population and you will get that planes are overperforming compared to everything else. ffs only way console player can perform good is that he uses some vehicle. hopefully it is not that data he is talking about. cause you can just take bombs and rockets out of CAS in that case…
