Nothing else gives you lead indicator or a pointer to the enemy. Flying is challenging when you first start but after practice the ability to precisely tell you where the enemy is and the lead indicator telling you when to fire guns makes it low skill air combat. Even if you are out manouvered can just disengage and go straight back in. Plane combat should be visual reference only, like tanks.
Most of the time, the lead indicator doesn’t work, anyway. Get rid of it, agreed.
For a newbie that would spoil the fun, even with this help it’s really hard to enjoy first. So I wish these markers should get less and less visible as the pilot squad levels up, instead of gone for all, if you really think it’s a problem.
You get an indicator for tank combat just as well. So I do not see why you would not get one for air combat.
you get an indicator in tank only of direction after you are hit and only from another tank. Aircraft literally gives you an arrow to the direction of the enemy before a shot is fired.
Tank vs tank has penetration indicator.
yes but that is not a direction indicator. in planes you literally get an arrow towards the enemy once it is at a certain range
Indicator for tanks, just helps people to understand where to shoot to pen. Indicator for airplanes, shows you where to turn to face the enemy, which just leads to both people flying in circles till one of them gives up or crashes into the ground.
