Please, make there be runways for takeoff and landing in both Practice and Squads. Realistically, the pilot of an injured BF109 is not going to fly combat sorties until his plane runs out of oil. He’ll finish the dogfighting required and head to base for repairs. And count successfully crash landing out of bounds like you do bailing out out of bounds- put the pilot/crew back in bounds to continue the fight. Why even have landing gear if you can never use it and get credit? You have a system in War Thunder that works well enough, you should be able to roughly adapt that and it would be better than nothing.

this wont work for the current game mechanics due to taking a long time, though, should EC game mode finally come, this will be a necessity

Hats off to PanzerlV6414. Would like for repair option like on the carrier.
This is already a feature. If you LAND your plane without it blowing up, and jump out of it there are several nice bonuses:
your crew are placed inbounds
you get 100 points for successful landing
your plane squad returns one squad earlier than normal, letting you get back up in the sky quicker.
wait, for real? why the hell is this never a feature told anywhere in the game? is that why i can tuck or let out my landing gear on some plane!?
… i will almost definitely just crash and die however.
They had in in the patch notes a while back. IDK why its not listed somewhere. Its actually not as hard to land as you think. I suggest making a button for “brakes” too.

On console it doesn’t come preset. You have to set it manually.
