It would be primarly in the Pacific and each team would have an Aircraft carrier like in Game Planes take off from it and troops use PT or Higgins Boats the Armor would spawn on shore or near in shallow enough water. the Obj would be eather Capture, Invasion, Etc. The Aircraft Carrier would move along with the progression of the Map depending. and for D-Day the Higgins could be used.

I have requested previously that island hopping feature in Pacific maps.
The objectives would be on different islands. To capture a new island the attackers have to board either Higgins boats/LVTs or Daihatsu barges and ‘drive/sail’ across to the new point.
On the way they are harassed by either PT Boats or Japanese armed barges/speedboats.
These PT boats/armed barges would be naval squads that would automatically swap with a tank or aircraft slot (Im open to debate which).
Perhaps APCs in those missions would automatically become LVTs?
Im open to your moving carrier idea, it would depend on how far each objective was.
For D Day Id like to see some of the British/Canadian style landing craft with the sideways door rather than drop down ramp
I will say though Im not sure about D Day having the boats actually approach the beach. Everything from COD to Roblox D Day does this and its very annoying as well as over-used.
I think Enlisted players appreciate spawning on the beach rather than being unable to even land and also when you die not having to take another boat all the way to the beach again.
(this used to happen in Roblox and the beaches would be crammed with Higgins boats while people waited at the ship spawn because people would take a whole boat for themselves)
I’m open to debate on that though.

Could be fun, but you need a matchmaker that somewhat reliably makes even(ish) teams
Currently most games in such gamemode would probably end up with a turkey shoot with one side just completely controlling the beach and slaughtering the people trying to cross the water
