This was an interesting feature of the Battle of the Pacific (not at all)
But after the “new era” it became a vestige of the map.
All Navy planes are useless.
Why?
There are normal airplanes that don’t need to fly a minute to a target at low speed.
You appear in the sky, with a full tank and high speed.
An aircraft carrier makes no sense - it’s a failed experiment. The game is too dynamic for this mechanic, THEN MORE so when the Americans can revive in the sky just by using other planes and the Japanese have to fly for a minute (except ki61).
Moreover - the developers intentionally removed armor to the planes.
How can you fly to the base, if the planes burn after one line from browning and cannons?
Japanese only have two normal airplanes (ki61)
Wmf planes are useless because they don’t have time for tank elimination, in that time the team dies from tanks in the gray zone.
How about you show me a Japanese airplane, with a 250+ bomb, that shows up in the air?
I have said several times already. Air spawn in Pacific should be double to triple the distance to what it is now. Replenish point should stay in same distance.
Thus making air spawn not so fkn advantageous + it would prevent suicide bonbin, since replenishment point would be way closer to battlefield/objective.
Your solution is just not good nor optimal.
PS, there’s so many planes which can be added to Japan in future.
So this point argument just reflects current situation which can be changed pretty easily.
It won’t help anything except that American vehicles will live longer under single map conditions in the game.
If you change the flight distance of airplanes, then on all maps.
love the mechanic of planes from carriers, but it kinda gets defeated if anyone can just cheesy it by spawning with planes that don’t fit already in the air.
therefore, should be removed from base game, but keept inside the editor for modders to use.
You are doing clearly something wrong xD It takes less than minute to get above objective.
And if you are not damaged, there’s no need to land. You can just fly to replenish point like any other plane.
Fine, while you’re trying to take off, the enemy will turn your team into mincemeat. If you knock down an opponent, he will easily knock you down, quickly appearing in the air. And what is the protection against camping spawn? You are flying at low speed and are an even more vulnerable target
I would just make it so non carrier planes cannot start the game and have their “cooldown” like other factions. Make it a tactical decision to have to take off from a carrier.
