I dont get the point of paratrooper in the game, because of the limited area of battlefield, which make it impossible to drop behind the enemy line.
I’m not sure if it’s just me, but I’ve probably played about 8 - 10 matches with paratrooper squads and used those squads multiple times in each.

I’ve never landed without at least one soldier dead from hitting the ground too hard

Whatever soldier I control during the first ~5 sec of jump will crater into the ground and die - even if the chute is opened nearly immediately
The squad is good but losing 1 - 3 soldiers on every drop seems like a bug - especially the “chute opened but maybe not all the way and you’re freefalling to death” thing that hits 1 - 3 every time.
Fix your fucking servers
It is absolutely disgraceful that local servers offer the same experience as one on the opposite side of the Earth from me
It feels like 200ms RU servers in CBT with absolutely horrible desynch and getting shot through walls when I’m on one of the East US ones at ~50-60ms

The “promotions” he said is not discount, the “promotion” he said is event.
Before this update, Pacific only has 26 levels while Moscow and Normandy already have 39 levels. So reaching end level on Pacific is way easier than the other campaigns.

You do not need to promote “discounts” anyway and they never did it when they released new premiums. Nobody mentioned discounts except you.

Lol you think most people like you have many campaign maxed. They will need to grind a lot of levels to access paratrooper if it was added in the campaign level.
So whats the point of brining event up if it wasnt promoted there/ directly with the release?

It apparently didn’t stop them from releasing new levels for other campaigns in the past as well. With that logic they shouldn’t ever release something new, regardless of level or tech tree because “someone will also start from zero”.
And? Rn you can’t even grind them and I guess a longer grind is better than no grind. An event doesn’t count, I mean technically you could also come up with the same bullshit “but what if people joined after the event or were too late or dont have time?”. Normal level means that everyone can grind them eventually for the campaign they want while the Pacific ones are tine-limited and for a campaign that is mostly a one-sided ghost town.
The event was already announced before the update released, what is the point of saying it again?

Then wait for the next update when the tech tree release. The grind in this game is long, most people won’t be able to grind to that high level before the new update release.

My point was that they don’t release new stuff, not even levels, but the stuff in general to other campaigns anymore because “of grind”, including maps. Tunisia doesn’t even has gold order tanks and weapons and only Normandy has one new map because of paras while campaigns like SG still have two maps only. Normandy is really last campaign that needs new maps but otherwise, paras would probably keep dying in clusterfuck maps there and no one would buy them.
Without saying when or really how.
And? The update will probably be there in months so it should be possible to max out one fations side unless you keep switching around. And Pacific isn’t the best grinding place either.
They are reworking the level into tech tree so no point of adding new level to interfere.

If you need years to finish one side, you are probably DNA nor would the tech tree be better for you. And there is no reason to argue the lack of content because of morons.
No need to worry about that. Can assure you they’re working very well, at least for me and during these few days.
Paratroopers is way better implemented than I could imagine.

7.5 seconds or 280-300 m from ground seems to be the sweet spot- at least for me.
Paratroopers, blatant pay to win garbage.
Excellent weapons, drop anywhere, no hard counter (paratrooper plane is faster than the enemy can setup AA or get in a fighter, and it can tank hits anyway), high flexibility, turn into any squad you need using the box.

I use 452 battle to finish Tunisia Axis (36 level) from start. Most of them are on top 3 and won 90% of battles.
For normal player that perform worse and win less, it will take way more battles.

Nonetheless, not releasing new levels and maps because of grind is stupid because Pacific suffers from similar issues if you play bad, especially if you grind US in Europe. If this is so hard, they can just ease the xp earning as proposed by people before.
Not to mention that a tech tree system copied from War Thunder will continue ass long grind.

What are you trying to talk about? With the event you don’t need to play Pacific to get US paratrooper in Pacific.
At least you will not have to grind paratrooper at the end of the campaign.

Overall it was about the whole aspect of no new content. The second part was that his statement about the levels doesn’t make sense with his own logic. You al wanted to tall about grind.
Yet this wasnt their reasoning.
To content overall plus new maps usually attract new players which could make grind easier because more players.

Oh yeah because rn you cant even grind them. Really much better if yu compare nothing against something. And they could also just put paras on a lower level as they did with swapping engineers in Tunisia.
And who knows where they will put the paras in the tech tree.
