@ChuchaDrucha @1942786 Please test and update or roll back the newly added DLSS 3.1.1, it is not working as intended, or this version of DLSS is not suitable for FPS games, because an important motion matrix anti-ghosting algorithm existing in pervious versions could be not present, or have significantly failed, or even possibly turned off by mistake (because unsuitable “customised development setting” is applied) in this version of DLSS, resulting ghosting behind moving gun front sight. This problem had been existing when DLSS was just added, but fixed since update of DLSS 2.3 in early 2022, until happened again after this major update.

even if ppl were spamming m2 i dont think it will matter that much, playing as japan is so easy right now its rofl stomp, and over 90% winrate as japan, as do all my other friends
I’d wager that’s largely based on the player populations for the US being functionally absent right now from the Pacific campaign, but it doesn’t deny the fact that the Japanese weapons are objectively less capable, and this is one of the largest gaps in performance yet. I have to wonder if it’s the devs trying to compensate for a population disparity, and if so, if they’ll consider fixing this error in judgement with the tech tree changes…
Wouldn’t make more sense to replace the Type 4 with Type Hei rifle with an extended 20-round magazine also known as Experimental Ultra Light Machine Gun (Japanese: 試製超軽機関銃, *Shisei Chō Kei Kikanjū) ?
japan literally has the best anti tank rifle, and best rifles, i would say smg wise japan is better too cuz low recoil. arisaka the starter rifle is literally the best, and i use that only. us rifles suck ass so bad, except maybe being semi auto but one shots is better
mg i dont think the us one is better either, japan one you can literally snipe with it. tank wise japan again win atm, chi ha premium and chi ha beats the stuart having unlocked it myself. planes, us has better bombs, japan has better planes. tank only disadvantage is vs infantry, since the mg on japan sucks on chi ha requires you to pop commander.
and the japan premium amphibious tank is way better than the US one. Us one you die in 1-2 shot and its lightly armor. the one that comes with the 9 man i use it to charge objective and its tanky as hell
my experience playing as the US was extremely horrible, is like hell mode. im quite saddened the US gets the scott and not something new, since its literally copy and pasted from normandy
I’ve been playing both Japan and US pretty much constantly, and while my US winrates are lower, the actual KDR is higher, and I find myself enjoying the US weapons much more.
I would agree; the SMGs for Japan are generally stronger, but the rifle side of things; the Garand, and now the M2 Carbine, blow every rifle Japan has out of the water in spades.
AT rifles are nice, but hardly a dealbreaker, and I find myself achieving reasonable success against Japanese tanks with the TNT charges, and tank wise I prefer the M13 over anything Japan has gotten before the Ho-I for campaign content (Ho-I looks very powerful however).
Chi-Ha, while very strong, is premium, which I guess speaks volumes about how they balanced out this campaign. I personally do not like the Ka-Chi (it’s 7, not 9, but I do agree this is a significant advantage regardless), but I see mixed sentiment about it situation depending. Personally, I prefer the LVT because of the coaxial machine gun, but I just don’t like either amphibious tank, and opt instead to run the M13 and M3 Stuart w/ Flamethrower for the US, and the A6M2 and Ki-61 for Japan (that premium aircraft is incredibly strong).
LMG wise, I genuinely find the Japanese LMGs kinda awkward to use; the Type 97’s scope is very nice, but the dispersion (while good, not sniper levels and thank goodness for that honestly) and kick make me feel it’s very situationally useful, reliant on being able to mount or go prone, and not having sniper dispersion means I don’t feel the scope really adds too much. Meanwhile the M1918 and 1918A2 have excellent sight pictures on the irons, and feel very reactive, and the Johnson’s 990rpm is just slaptastic, a personal favourite. If I were to give any advantage to Japan in the LMG department, I’d say that has recently manifested in the FN1930, basically being a better M1918A2, which is a little crazy if you ask me.
Overall, I’d as my worst experience with the US has been just the lack of team play; a lot of games seem to go south due to a lack of rallies, a poor response to pushes, and worst of all I feel like I’m fighting 1 against 12. I have had more success around 6-10pm PST, where it seems US peak hours start to make life better, but I do agree that playing on US teams otherwise is pretty painful.
Once again however, I don’t think that’s a product of equipment advantages so much as a very distinct lack of player presence; the situation ameliorates distinctly during certain times of the day, and swings hard back into 2022 levels of US stomping.

is it just me that have enlisted booted up in seemingly chinese mode? the icon in squad upgrade is littered with chinese words and the faction symbol is the censored one.
at least the language is still in english…
From what I can tell so far it’s a very good update.
And pretty polished too, not so many bugs like the previous updates.
That’s a very important thing not to overlook.
Paratroopers are fun and seems to somewhat balance things out between defenders and attackers (too early to say anything more about this class tbf).
Preset feature is very very good. And will be vital after the campagin merge.
Nice to finally see faction-unique AA and those stabilizers.

Would have been great if you didn’t bind open the para box on Xbox to the one button that doesn’t work on enlisted (right bumper), every other game RB works perfectly, enlisted: nope, nothing, nada. Have to remap every RB related command to other buttons.
Anybody else notice how the paratroopers are dropping way too fast?
Much faster than pilots used to drop, now they feel like they weigh 1 ton each and reach the ground within a couple seconds.
(for gameplay purposes probably, but still)
I noticed. Actually, whatever player I control will drop so hard he’ll die no matter how fast I open the parachute. If I switch immediately after drop to another soldier then he’ll drop fine and the original guy will only be downed and not dead.
May you please revert the soldiers change equipment window back to how it was? you’ve broken it completely. was kinda bad before, bad view of the equipment/weapons. but now?! really terrible, this is bad made

Why aren’t the views centered on the gun and text and infor put in non obscuring places so we can actually view the weapons/vehicles etc.

why is not the camera at a zoom level that I can view the whole vehicle?
(Btw the person who put decorations on that one suck, the clipping is awful, thing goinh in and out of vehicle and decoration, like helmet on turret have hook through it, looks really bad work)
Why not have like WarThunder? In their hangar you can clearly look around the vehicle and zoom in and out to get a good look, This is how should be for both Soldiers/Squads Weapons & Vehicles.
It gives your game a really shitty impressions not to have thought out menus and viewing

Does anyone know if we’ll have the option to choose when to open our own parachutes, or will it be done automatically? I really don’t want to be shot down from the sky on every other jump because an automatic opening occurs way too early. I would prefer a low opening under my own control. And also choose “when” to jump.
Does anybody have any information on this?
How are you guys playing paratroopers already? I thought they hadn’t come out yet…

you select your point in the map, but you can jump before whit spacebar, you have a time limit (the sound) if you dont jump, the game jump automatically
