Aim Bots

I keep encountering aim bots when I’m in matches. Is this problem going to be fixed?

You mean the AI aimbotting you or actual aimbot users? Important distinction.

Bots, even if extremely dumb, will zero on you with ease if you shoot near them or their squadmates. Or it could be a console user with his aimassistthatdoesnotexist.

i wish we could disable crossplay

You and me both… Simply having the option to turn it on/off would make everyone happy.

wish some kind people would fill some more quickscoping high skill console play. I think the more people see it the less people will be tolerant of it.

I was in a match with a console baby who had placed an MG42 sandbag gun at the back of the map and was ADSing in and out while spraying (to get his auto aim to lock). He was shooting well beyond “the fog” and getting tons of kills.

Console players shouldn’t bother anyone. Doing good in a game isn’t about cod style tactics. Bots aimbotting through brush is annoying though

I’m glad that the devs decided to make the bots less useless, but now they’re sniping me through dense foliage. Love it when I’m playing by the fountain on that Normandy map with the Manor and I get sniped through the hedges.

Are you sure it was someone with aim assist? I’ve lagged behind sometimes playing engineer, shot blind with stationary mg from far away towards objective/pings and gotten several kills. Once you get familiar with the maps from both sides this is quite doable on some of them.

AI have been literal aimbots in my experience (as of recently). I’m starting to desire a break from Enlisted until I see more AI “improvements” in a future update.

IMO (and my opinion’s worth what you’re paying for it) Lone Fighters isn’t as frustrating as Squads, insomuch that there are far less AI overall, so your chances of being domed by the Carlos Hathcock-like AI is far less than it would be in Squads.

Touching on the topic of console players, they shouldn’t get autoaim. At all. Sorry they’ve chosen to play on a subpar system. Get better, or get a keyboard and mouse.

I Don’t see anything wrong with the AI. I don’t die that much.

What caused me to write this was a match I had in lone fighters. A enemy was blasting people at far range with a MG42. I managed to sneak up close to him but as I peaked out of cover he suddenly made a 90 degree snap towards me, blew me away, and then snapped forward again to kill my allies.

Okay sure

If you were careful not to run when nearby and more or less remained silent/undetected as you suggested (sneak), it is worth next time to complain/attach the clog so they could check the player’s behaviour.
Maybe he was with teammates and was alerted, or he was doing this look-around routinely, or perhaps cheating. But I don’t think that’s bot behaviour what you described.

Yep seen it and reported it. Also people using ESP.

Yeah, people beelining into your ambush positions before you can fire a shot certainly aren’t just bots.

Bots are kinda random at aiming. Sometimes they kill you through a bush far away, sometimes they would miss a cow standing in an empty room. Sometimes they’ll 180 headshot you and sometimes you can kill 8 of them with a knife.

But if you’ve been playing LF, I’ve heard LF is also fealed with bots when there isn’t enough real players. So maybe there’s that.

Also Easy Anti-Cheat is considered to be one of the worst anti-cheat so…

I’ve encountered a fair few using ESP.

Which doesn’t surprise me since EAC is well… it’s EAC.
