As crazy as it may sound, AI panically avoid obstructing player’s view. Bots will run like headless chickens (and get shot as a result) as long as they are in your view range. Take note: in the view range, not only in the line of aiming.
So the longer you observe your bots, the more idiotic their behaviour. Same for changing your view direction often, the more you look left and right, the more AIs run like idiots.
That’s what I observed, do you have simmilar experiences?
bots are liability than assets…by ENLISTED
experience?
oh boy…
having AI is becoming a nightmare.
i used to think that 3 stars ai were somewhat good, but they are headless chicken as well.
i really don’t understand and i have enough.
like, they watch me and left me to die when they can clearly move and take a shot on them.
for some reaosons, the old and annoying bug where they bump into you is more present than ever.
it gets so frustrating. the more you look at the them, the more you can realize how dumb they can be.
i somewhat have the feelings of berlin test were somewhat better than the current ones.
they were running in a straight line though…
The ai is like the chicks when the momma birds brings food to them…and they get picked by the snakes in the mean time.
Do what I do.
Stick them in a relatively safe location, use them as extra lives.
It’s the only use for them, they’re useless.

does not it create a headache you need to bring them out again and to that far away point
I don’t really put them far away.
I tuck them in a nearby building and hope for the best.
It works out most of the time, sometimes they get found and killed, it is what it is.
Well if I understand what your saying my AI appear to do just the opposite of what your saying. My AI always want to block my view. If Im sniping from a window one of the goofy bastiges will always jump in the center of the window blocking my view. Forcing me to move so he will move to get out of the way.
If I’m moving through some trees and I lay down prone to find a stabilized firing position, they will just crawl all over me exposing my position.
Sometimes I’m actually relived when I look up see that they are all dead so I don’t have to worry about them getting in the way.
I combine my AI between alarms and mobile respawns. I tuck a few of them away, but leave the rest so that if one dies, I know enemies are coming.
