Not sure if these threads are allowed, so I won’t complain if one of the mods remove it.
I have the latest version of the Topaz Gigapixel AI and enjoy finding war images online and upscaling them. Willing to do this entirely for free, just find a cool picture from WW2 that you like and I’ll upscale it
- Try to find images below 1080p, highly detailed pictures don’t benefit much.
Here are some examples of what the Topaz AI can do.

did you used vectors programs?
Okay, so i have a few questions. First, what is the minimum input quality? I guess trying to upscale 320x240 is a bit hard, where’s the limit of what the program can do? And second, is there any good free, possibly open-source alternative? Not only i am not wiling to pay the full price just to mess around with the program, but i tried Topaz AI on free trial, and it didn’t work for me, just crashed when loading image. Also, there are many low-fps, low-res war recordings. I know there’s a way to “smooth” it out with something like DAIN, but is there a program to upscale a video like an image? IIRC Topaz can’t do it.

Nah I quite literally pirated the Gigapixel AI last year and though it was cool as shit so I kept pirating the updated versions lol.
You can drop really whatever in here, I’ll just pick which upscaling mode gives the best result with minimal artifacting.
I chose one of the most pixelated images in my library, show me your magic.

Unfortunately the results for that one aren’t even worth posting since the original picture itself is too compressed. I even tried running it through the Topaz Denoise AI and putting back through Gigapixel, nada.
Edit: I took a screencap of the page with and cropped the image thumbnail and somehow got better results in the Gigapixel AI…
