AI bombers bombs need to hurt! It’s that simple

If you’re going to nerf everything dealing with ai bombers, you need to atleast keep their bomb damage the same or increase it. They need to hurt and do massive damage. When the British/Americans bombed the crap out of German positions around Caen, there were reports of German tanks being flipped upside down due to bombs. That’s how it needs to be.

Gonna have to put that historical accuracy aside for the sake of gameplay here. If they buffed the fuck out of the damage on those then it would truly be cancer to play. Bombing runs are annoying enough as they are and frankly I’d like to see them removed.

IMO just let them drop more 50kg bombs, like a carpet bombing

With the way that they were just nerfed I agree. (Though I will note the way they were nerfed was needed!) There needs to be increased reward for the risk/reward factor. Its not even necessarily that they need to be given LARGER bombs, but that they need to drop MORE bombs. They only drop one bomb per plane currently, which can actually lead to a large number of complete misses. Give them at least 2 bombs dropped per plane and then measure their effectiveness from there.

I haven’t run into a bomber squadron yet, no one has used them in any sessions ive played in so far, so i haven’t saw damage they do yet.

But according to description of update they only damage reduction from bombers was the soviet ones. Theirs were 100kg and ALL others were 50kg, the just changed the soviet to match the already existing 50kg.

Just goes to show how they have been favoring russian armies equipment and stats over all others, could they be bias? Lol

Devs solution: Lets make everything hard to use, unrealistic or straight useless just like other arcades

the problem with those bombing runs is that in order to “defuse” them you already need to sacrifice one active player, who could push the objective instead. This alone makes those bombing runs effective.

However even more effective is the power to basically destroy the entire enemy backline of spawn radios as long as they are in open fields.

Now tell me what “skill” does it take to call in those bombers? Its just point and klick. You risk nothing for gaining results for free, thus these bombing runs should be a “tactical gimmick”, instead of a “tactical nuke”.
