The Austro-Daimler ADTK was a so called Trosskarren (literally translated: baggage train cart, which means a small lorry). 158 exemplars were manufactured in 1936 and one in 1937. Because of the small wheelbase of 1.75 m, the small turning circle of 9 m and the clearance of 20 cm, it was a manoeuvrable vehicle. The ADTK had a payload and a pulling force of each 1 ton. As alternative, 6 soldiers with their equipment could be carried besides the driver and the co-driver.

(1935 - 1937)

The Austro-Daimler ADAZ was developed as towing vehicle for artillery guns. The main gear of rear bogie with an extra gear was located in a single casing, installed on a spar frame. The torque from them was transmitted to side chain belts in balancing housings; on the ends of which were mounted wheels with removable caterpillar feeds. ADAZ was equipped with in-line 6-cylinder engine rated at 150 hp. with two carburetors and unusual for the military equipment of that time semi-automatic three-way hydraulic transmission Foit, as well as a torque converter oil cooler, hydraulic brakes and a winch with a pulling force of 10 ton/force. Externally, it was featured by a wide 10 places cabin with three parts windshield, short hood and typically Austrian massive sloping grille. Its payload on a highway was 3 tonnes, on the ground - 2 tonnes. Gross weight reached 11.3 tonnes, maximum speed - 65 km/h, fuel consumption - 85-95 liters per 100 kilometers. In 1935-1937 the company built 28 of these trucks. The design of fundamentally new four wheel armored vehicle ADGZ was designed on this chassis.
