Adressing the elephant in the room

I consider this to be an infuriating issue. Can we please remove the delay to switching soldiers when killed? Why can’t the game just insta switch to the next soldier, but instead i have to press a key (which i can’t rebind to something closer since everything there is already very useful) and just watch my whole squad die because i can’t press a god damn key fast enough? The fact it just fixates the camera on eho killed me is of no use except if it’s at really long distance and even so it’s been marginally useful. The highlight could stay on for a few seconds without having to fixate my camera on my killer (i know this might seem like a wall hack type of thing but since it just stays lit for a few seconds i don’t think this will be an issue. It will still show me mi killer but at least i’ll have time to react). Chime in with opinions.

If the outline stays at all with a soldier still active, it should be an outline of the solder as he was when he shot, not where he is now - Otherwise I can see it getting very very wallhacky and annoying. I also think the killcam has the function of reducing effectiveness of camping, which people already do more than they should.

Quickswitching in itself I don’t see being a problem, there could be an option for it in settings in something, so you get that instead of killcam? I’d like that.

The problem is that switching soldiers is slow enough
When you switch, the soldier will not take any action. If an enemy appears opposite you and is unfortunately killed by him
It’s better to hope that the AI can get lucky and wipe out the enemy than to constantly switch soldiers and repeat the steps of being wiped out.

This is a problem, switching soldiers is too slow and the AI is too stupid a lot of the time

There should be a minimum range where AI is lobotomized. If you get within 2-3m of a squad you should get insta wiped (also to mention it’s very stupid for bots to go into melee the second someone is closer than 5m to your squad). Also bots should be facing the direction you were running, it’s so infuriating to press Y and switch to a bot that is looking completely the opposite direction only to get sniped again, not to mention bots don’t keep their position in line. I may quick press Y to go to the next bot and avoid the killcam, only to get switched to bot nr. 2 who is last in formation for some reason and looking the opposite direction only to have 3-4 other bots die before i can order them back or shoot who is killing me.
