On both the Eastern and Western Fronts, automatic rifles now deal 15.3 damage, reload faster than most assault rifles, and even match the fire rate of SMGs and LMGs. What’s worse, they can be equipped by the largest squads in the game.
It’s time to end this dominance—automatic rifles are making every other weapon obsolete.

this would be an indirect nerf to engineers in which case i’m out and wonder why you don’t play br2/3 like all the other people who can’t take the fast paced gameplay.

I am partial to this, people keep complaining that autoamtic rifles (especially SF rifles) are just too good, even compared to themselves, giving them recoil similar to bolt-action rifles could be an interesting idea. Full auto on full power cartridges is next to impossible to manage unless you’re prone or mounting the gun on something, especially when fired from a rifle sized weapon (MGs have more bulk which does help with recoil).
The development of assault rifles really looses alot of its meaning in Enlisted when the SF rifles are mostly just the same but better…
You’re seriously comparing an overgrown Fedorov to the T20? Plus, Japan only has one automatic rifle—it’s obvious the devs ran out of ideas for prototype weapons and just copied models from other factions.
