hello today i wanna make my topic to to the springfield m1903 pedersen device in game mainelly because theres one part missing the bolt. the m1903 gold order in game has only the pedersen device part in game when in real life that is a conversion for the rifle and not to be permanent attached to the rifle because you can switch back to the bolt part and fire your five rounds to be more precise in long range fights. now i know this topic might be never looked by one of the devs and ignored but i just wanna switch to my bolt to long range fights instead of firing my 40 round magazine and miss all my shots and also it would make the weapon more unique and usable and also worth the gold order to get it but i also know versitile weapons might we overused in the game like the mp43, well that is my suggestion add the bolt part the gold order springfield m1903 naturally take your time no one is giving orders here.

would be good but the animation required to convert this would be too complicated in my opinion, the system was maybe meant to be easily field stripped and reassembled, but not in the heat of battle… it was surely clumsy, cause you had to have pouches for the regular bolt components and pouches for semi auto conversion components and once you lost some of it you were screwed or stuck with just one iteration (that for realism)
and in game ? it would surely look better to convert one weapon than switching between two same bolt actions, or play with just semi auto pistol carbine in full auto normandy

Battlefield 1 already has the animations for it because you can fire k bullets after swapping the mechanisms
