It would be great that for the merit of your soldiers you can claim decorations for them, for example, the soldier “adolfito” has managed to destroy 300 tanks and kill more than 400 enemy soldiers, therefore you can claim the highest decoration that would be the Knight’s Cross medal with Oak Leaves in Gold, Swords and Diamonds, you can wear it hanging on your uniform either to instill respect or something already cosmetic.

I’m sure it’s a dress uniform, not a field uniform. Do you really think that soldiers ran in the trenches with medals on their chests?
I doubt it, but that’s why I said it would be something cosmetic
This will be the first step to Battlefield 5.
I would like distinguished soldiers to have a parade uniform (maybe add various medals to it + a small bonus from them). But not on the battle field.
mmm if the truth, you’re right, I don’t want this to become another BF,but maybe it would be a good idea, appreciate those medals at least in the main menu

Btw all soldiers have standard uniform before they will added in any squad.
Maybe change this uniform to parade?

I guess we could have different “backgrounds” in the main menu that would change how soldiers look.
For example you have “parade background” and you have your soldiers in proper uniforms.
You have “trench” background and your sildiers are in dust and mud.
It would still be mainly backgrounds but there would be 3-4 soldiers’ look variations.
Of course payed feature.

Medals should be for achievements, any other option is bad.
This “background” idea is only to use it as a display of medals. I guess normally you should have a menu that is a “cabinet” with medals as you shouldn’t take them to fight (as you mentioned).

Yea “background” for gold will be good(maybe also change black background?).
It can be maked as icon profile and nickname decoration(part for event/part for gold).

I believe medals and rank would be a great addition. While those in game wouldn’t be able to see your medals, they could see your rank. Lobby etc obviously the choice for parade uniform seems like the way to go here.
