The other countries have a ww1 rifle in their techtrees such as 1903 springfeild for usa, m91 dragoon for russia, and type 38 for japan, but germany doesn’t have their main service rifle the gewehr 98 as a regular rifle. It wouldn’t be that hard to put the Gewehr 98 in the tech tree due to the sniper version already in the game along with an enevnt gewehr 98 rifle. I would like to hear back from the developers if this could be a possibility of adding a tech tree version of the gewehr 98 to the german tech tree.

If we can have 3 versions of classic K98k, I don’t see why we couldn’t get G98 as well.

It’s already in the game, in two version : The Mosin M1891 ‘‘Dragoon’’ which is available in the TT and the Mosin M1891 ‘‘Infantry’’ which was only available as a premium ‘‘early backer’’ pack for people who supported the game in alpha I think.

Even with the Scope of the gewehr 98 removed, you still have the crappy single reload of all snipers. Along with it only being able to be used by snipers and not all infantry.

No more garbage for GE pls
Germany has the disaventage of having lots of rubbish in the TT that are only talking space and being a headache for everyone who wants to grind this nation adding more stuff… Is not going to help unless is usefull like a br 2 decent AT, belt fed mg or a p-47 counter part with many rockets : D
It can be foldered. Also g98 aint rubbish it is beautiful rifle
