BR II in the Allied camp currently lacks premium paratrooper squads, which will make it impossible for new players to obtain Allied paratrooper squads through any channels in BR I-III. BR II in the Axis camp has premium Italian paratrooper squads, which will make the battle unbalanced.

It is german Ramcke batallion. But they do have italian guns. Also usa aint the only one without purchasable low br paras. Japan also doesnt have any

There is a Bren Mk3 in the editor. This is a compact airborne version of the Bren. So maybe this is the future premium airborne.

For some reason, which ONLY Dark Force knows, only the Soviets have paratroopers at all levels. Why? Because in DF ultimate wisdom they made the Soviet paratroopers with fully changeable weapons loadouts, which NO OTHER faction has. 
Seems sketchy to me. 
But, you know, if DF wanted to make it right I am sure just a couple game programming changes and every faction would have paratroopers with fully changeable weapons loadouts. Not sure why DF won’t change it, but I’m not sure why DF does a lot of things they do.

just put paratroopers in the tech tree, one free squad for every nation, let people give them any weapon like the soviet paratroopers, problem solved

But this will never happen as they would make their own paid squad worthless.
They need to make tech tree paratroopers. Paratroopers are hardly an automatic win button anymore. Locking an entire class behind a paywall or events is nonsensical.
Dude, 99% of paid squads already are worthless. Who is buying the Pz38(t) or the G30m?
I find it ridiculous that they cost upwards of 20-30 dollars and in some cases even higher than that. They’re redundant half the time and the only reason why people even shill out for them is due to half of this community have a findom kink. Gaijin should learn that selling squads at 5-10 dollars would draw in far more revenue from the normie masses than simply price gouging and relying on paypiggies.

I think a better way is to provide silver coin paratroopers whose weapons are forcibly limited to level 2 to solve the problem of newcomers not having paratroopers.
Like I said, we are not the target demographic. The target demographics are the whales who will unload their wallets whilst giggling at the idea of “shiny new thing”.

It is about the identity of the squads AKA why you have them.
Without a unique weapon or feature they just are not unique. Even powercreept squads can still be unique if they have a unique gun attached to them.
But a copy of a TT squad will never be unique.
also because with all the events and boxes that have been there by now a large portion of the community already has paratroopers and I haven’t seen them destroy the game balance
they could add a single squad per faction with tradable equipment like the Russians and use only rifles and leave SMGs to event or premium units and they could still make money on it
I want some Research Tree Paratroopers so I can finally put the FG 42 where it belongs
I would even say multiple like how we have Riflemen 1-3. I prefer having multiple squads instead of changing loadouts all the time
But of coarse there will still be new premium/ event Paratroopers with unique weapons. You have Research squads for flexibility and special squads with unique weapons
That shit too overpriced for the sake of “collectability”. Not everyone thinks a low tier tank or five guns with a self loading rifle is worth 20-30 bucks. Knock it to 5-10, then yeah, ya got a point but that ain’t how it be so your claims don’t work.
People own the PO 2 and that never was good or anything but a collector item.
That ignores the fact it is still completely overpriced. Sure, this game is a community of schmucks but Goddamn, the idea that profiting off people with a findom kink only serves to alienate the casuals and the F2Ps.
You don’t have to buy them, if they are not worth it for you. I bought a lot of german premium squads. They are very fun to play AND I wanted to support the Devs for their great work! So enjoy the game!
