It is recommended to add a special team that enters the site by glider. After landing, the glider can be used as a rally point with a limited number of uses.
The landing process is as follows. First select the airborne direction and landing location on the map, then the transport aircraft separates the glider at a distance of 3km from the war zone, and then the player operates the glider to fly to the landing location and finally land. A severe impact would destroy the glider and randomly kill some of the crew.
While many maps are currently unsuitable, this entry mode will undoubtedly be cool.
It feels a bit like a hell diver, right?

tbh i think the glider should act as an impact thing to maybe like damage anyone that got caught in the impact cause i think that fun

this would be a cool idea, it could be like a tech tree paratroopers but…knowing gaijin they’d prob make it a premium or an event squad
The map is just too small and cramped for it. A good landing zone may be far from the objective.
I don’t really see what advantage it has when there is already apc in game.

Lol 90% of time will be the glider hit something and kaboom.

What is the point of doing it anyway? There is usually no much space after the line of fire, you will fly straight into the greyzone.

So what squad were deployed in combat by glider? If we’re talking about the glider T-60 that thing couldn’t even be lifted off.
cod 1 have british para being deploy by glider so i guess it technically a different method (which might make thing interesting but who knows beside they got like bren and stuart i think from CoH 2 but i havent try much CoH so im probably wrong)
its a catch 22 if there deployed outside the grey zone its too powerful if in the grey zone its just a standard deployment , what if a tanks deployed by glider were upriered so a br tank 3 would become a br 4 by glider, second the crew would not be in the tank would br parachuted and have to find there tank which could not be stolen or destroyed but the tank crew can be killed
