A tank should not get stuck like that. They were designed specifically so that would NOT happen…

I’d rather they just make it so that tanks don’t get stuck like that (they should be able to drive just fine out of that position, they’re tanks), but I appreciate the sentiment.

Literally everyone would prefer that (maybe with exception of some infantry purists).

But it’s quite obvious developers are unwilling to do anything about it.

So frustrating.

Yeah vehicle obstacle-crossing in this game is beyond garbage. It’s wild. Also saw a clip today where vehicles are still getting stuck on train tracks, so that’s fun.

Exactly! Having tanks get stuck on trenches is like having a boat get stuck in water.

Just looking at that trench too, were trenches normally that wide? I guess it depends on the situation and type of trench but to my knowledge WWII trenches like in that Tunisia map tended to be narrower.

Id also mention a button to flip a motorcycle. They try to right themselves naturally but those things bounce around more than Tigger from Winnie the Pooh and theres been times when its flipped upside down and I cant use it. Even though three guys could easily right a motorcycle (in Japan they have small lorries that 4 men can lift easily)

DF also needs to fix spawns so we dont spawn jammed between a tree and a radiomast for example.

Someone here said something about fixing AT guns and I agree 100% for that as well.
I dont understand why the supports are rigid for those.
In Enlisted if one of the supports hits something you cant move it, whereas in real life you could just move the support in or out a bit. After all the supports are meant to come together when towing them.

True - what should have happened is the stug should have node-dived into the trench long before it got there!

Here’s a revelation for you: tanks have trench crossing limits!

You can find those limits in many stats publications - even wiki has it for many - the Panther is limited to 2.45 meters, Stug 3 2.3-2.5m and so on.

Perhaps someone can measure the width of that trench somehow, but at a guess it looks about 1/2 the length of the stug, which would make it about 2.7m - more than it’s limit anywhere I’ve read.

Reality would like you to become reacquainted with it.

But how is that relevant to the discussion?

What reality has to do with anything here? I’m driving a tank in a game, I want to not be stuck on things.

I checked out of curiosity and trench is ~2.5m wide. But from my understanding StuG should have nose dived into it instead of hanging like this. Also it’s a game.

Trench aren’t problem, you can avoid them.
But this little pieces of AT shit is real menace.
