Add the Messerschmitt Me 262 to Enlisted for Late-War German Air Superiority

The Messerschmitt Me 262 was the world’s first operational jet fighter and saw combat in the later stages of World War II, particularly during the Battle of Berlin. Adding the Me 262 to Enlisted would enhance historical accuracy and provide a unique high-speed air combat experience.

How It Could Be Implemented:

Campaign: Berlin (possibly a future late-war expansion)

Role: Fighter/Bomber Interceptor

Weapons Loadout:

4x MK 108 30mm cannons (devastating against bombers and ground targets)

R4M Rockets (optional upgrade) (air-to-air or air-to-ground use)

250kg bombs (optional loadout) (for ground attack)

Balancing Considerations:

Limited Ammo: The MK 108 cannons have a slow rate of fire and low ammo count.

Fragile Airframe: Vulnerable to concentrated fire, especially from AA or enemy fighters.

Longer Spawn Timer: To prevent it from dominating the battlefield.

High-Speed Handling: Harder to turn-fight, encouraging boom-and-zoom tactics.

This Aircraft could be implented as a premium vehicle or during a specific event. It could also be on the Elite Battle Pass.

Adding the Me 262 would provide a fresh dynamic to Enlisted, rewarding skilled pilots while maintaining balance against prop-driven aircraft. Would love to see it in-game! Lets see what people think

Sadly, Axis cannot have a jet aircraft without Soviets getting a post war abominantion.
We saw that every faction wants to have roughly the same things, even with gimmicks such as shotguns and body armour so adding a jet to the game (no matter how weak it is) will only result in all factions also demanding a jet.

As far I want them I can’t see them being useful, correct me if I’m wrong but all plane in the game are modified to fit the small combat area and so would be for the jet, I really don’t want a jet who can’t pass the 400 tas or it get out turned by a biplane, the gameplay wouldn’t different from the one of the already in game plane and maybe would be even worse

From what I observed over the years, many ppl don’t really care that something is bastardised to the point it vaguely looks like the original. It needs to be shiny, rest doesn’t matter.
And Devs simply want to pump new content.

So I wouldn’t have high hopes.

Cant wait to own that beautiful aircraft

Well adding everything to one faction leads to disbalance in a game where you have exactly the same number of Tigers vs exactly the same number of T 34 where is the balance in that game balance is more important then adding everything there is to one faction that in reality had very limited number of this ''Wunderwaffe ‘’ that changed nothing in the war…

The only imbalance is body armor, japans whole army too

I’m sure the Soviets have some wartime jet prototype. That would be perfectly fine

Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-9 … flew after war 1946. While the MiG-9 was not as advanced or as successful as the Me 262, it was an important part of the early jet age for the Soviet Union.

Actually they had i250,i260 and i300 was ready for April before the war ending in September, they was tested later and the final version was the mig 9 based on i300

Basically just a me copy

The mig.

Ahh yes. The first Mikoyan-Gurevich design, the MiG-1, first flew on April 5, 1940. This was a Soviet fighter aircraft developed before the MiG-9 and was a piston-engine plane. The MiG-1 was followed by other models, including the MiG-3, and later the famous jet-powered MiG-15, which flew for the first time in December 1947. The MiG-15 became a very successful and significant aircraft in Soviet aviation history.

The mig is just the how they named it the plane was already functional for april

The first Yakovlev jet aircraft, the Yakovlev Yak-15, first flew on April 24, 1946. It was the Soviet Union’s first operational jet fighter, designed as a response to the German jet fighters like the Me 262.
