Add T22 Locust to air drop for Allies

just like the ammo crate it can be called in like a air drop but only on roads/ pre designated drop sites being a BR3/BR4 light tank used for close support in fire fights

That should be the Allies TT paratrooper squad. It would definitely be unique.

That would be legendary making it a unique squad type the allies could have

The idea of a Locust glider squad sounds funny but I see a lot of potential issues. If it can only spawn in at certain spawn points then I don’t really see it being any different from regular vehicles (except worse because you have to wait for it to land and you might get shot down) but if you have the freedom to land it where you want then I forsee a lot potential jank with the interactions between the map terrain and the landing glider.

Second is an issue of balance, if the Locust counted towards the 2 tank limit then it would be very bad at BR 3/4 as suggested but if it didn’t then the ability for the Western Allies to have more than 2 tanks at a time might be too much.

it could act like a plane slot like parachuters in the squad selection since it comes from the air or if youre already on the ground it would come in with a parachute like the ammo crates that radio operators can call in. My reason for br3/4 is because it wasn’t meant to destroy tanks it was for infantry support and its being called in by radio operators. I also made another post suggestion it as a squad.

The Locust wasn’t deployed on a parachute, it was deployed on a glider. Also the idea of calling in a whole new squad using the radio operator sounds very strange.

yeah I just saw it was only by glider lol also my suggestion as a radio operator would take the current squad youre playing as into the tank not make a new one but itis my take on it so if you’ll like to make a better post about it go ahead since I couldn’t find another post about the t22 Locust.
