The Panther F yes, it was more just prototype at that point with a new turret.
The T-44 did fight in east certainly, and allegedly in the west too at least once around Berlin, though it was used mainly as a training tool in 1944 since it lacked spare parts.
The Panther isnt frontally immune, its turret cheeks are a major weakspot to all BR3 tanks.
Not to mention its very weak side armour means if you are even 45 degrees off its front, you can easily pen it, honestly less, but I can say 45 with confidence.
Of course, that’s a problem too. That’s can change the FNAB to 800ROF and place it on BR3. For tanks, it’s not as serious as BR5 thanks to Pz4H. Because it can make penetration not difficult and the average infantry kill rate is similar because the firepower is similar. In fact, IS-2 has a bigger problem infantry kill rate. (Too Low)
All things considered, I want you to realize that having high penetration and just the right size warhead is huge. 88mm is the second most powerful warhead after Ho-Ri 105mm. (Even considering the reload speed)
The reason why Ho-Ri is the most powerful is that it’s a huge warhead, but the speed of reloading plays a part. (I don’t know if it did that because there have two loaders, but it’s unusually fast.)
And if the PPS story is about BR2, then PPS and Urgan are weaker than Automatico. Veteran GE users have the edge rather with it. If this gun feels bad, it’s purely a skill issue. It’s the most powerful SMG in all faction in BR2. (Of course, I’m thinking these days that it could be pushed to the second because of the Type 100 early.)
Read a dodgy claim about once near Berlin which Im not sure I beleive, but 2000 of them were made as far as Im aware, and considering how the soviets would use anything they could get their hands on, that wouldnt surprise me.
Otherwise 3 were meant to have served with the 100th special tank detachment(cant remember the exact unit, but it was one of those trial unit deals) or etc for combat testing in Manchuria.
Which I would beleive since they were often seen as the precursors or basis for the later T-54.
Otherwise they were mainly used as a training instrument as far as Im aware.
Lol so introduce fake equipment stats because you don’t want fakes and prototype? You are literally doing the same thing since it will be a fake equipment.
New Br5 Japan tank.
Yes if I had to choose between the two, I’ll take the Battlefield approach where Zero = Corsair and Bf 109 = Spitfire instead of seeing endless Su-9 1946, ASs-44 and other crap.
Except that just wasn’t true - crews were seriously vulnerable to simply screwing up and getting the tank stuck or having it break down and having to abandon it under fire, ther were 100mm and 88mm guns around that could easily deal to them, they got thrown into stupid attacks by incompetent generals, etc.
Confusing Enlisted with real life is a pretty noob mistake.
When it comes to Soviet tanks, I don’t know a better source than Yuri Pasholok, who so far confirmes my understanding that no T-44s were ever used in WW2 combat
