No, it’s definitely not a user problem. It’s because the firepower gap is quite large due to the reload time issue. Definitely a balance issue
PZ4E / F1 or PZ3J1 unable to penetrate T-50 / T-34 “User issue”
IS2 cant pen KT2 hull “Balance issue”
are you sure ?
both balance issue
I’m sorry, but at the time, the equipment problem in Moscow was serious in Germany, but even bigger than that, the problem with Soviet users was bigger. It’s still a mystery, honestly, so I did Soviet with squad play at the time. User quality problems can be solved by playing with a good users.
Never denied that, I can imagine the suffering of soviets in old moscow.
Driving around in impervous T-50 or T-34 knowing nothing but detpack or plane could take it out, it must have been real PTSD experience.
PPsh, it always baffled me why DF hates soviets so much ? Time after time again, they gave soviets these horrible bullet hoses that had 71 round magazines that automaticly meant wasting bullets.
While GE was again pampered with 20 round memeretta, so even if they wanted to waste rounds they could not.
Poor soviets.
You’re right. Honestly, the quality of the users was low, so they wanted to fill in the good users even if the balance was broken, but as you know, there weren’t any high-end players trying to play Soviet. I’m still wondering this. Other campaigns had definitely fewer users if the equipment was weak (the most serious was Tunisia), why Moscow soviet only?
Probably the most idiotic explanation ive ever heard so far.
GE playerbase wasnt made of pro players either and even if it was it wouldnt justify such tarded imbalance.
Just a guess. I don’t get it either. It was one of the worst balances ever.
Btw item A and item B being on the same campaign level in a campaign doesn’t mean item A = balance = item B
Quite obviously not in this case.
Same issue the Jumbo 76 has, its just one of those limiting factors of the BR system, unless we got a BR6, it wont change.
The Panther F yes, it was more just prototype at that point with a new turret.
The T-44 did fight in east certainly, and allegedly in the west too at least once around Berlin, though it was used mainly as a training tool in 1944 since it lacked spare parts.
The Panther isnt frontally immune, its turret cheeks are a major weakspot to all BR3 tanks.
Not to mention its very weak side armour means if you are even 45 degrees off its front, you can easily pen it, honestly less, but I can say 45 with confidence.
“Although the T-44 was available by the end of the war, it was not used in any battle.”
Not true at all.
The tanks in the Sude Level 3 room are even more unbalanced. Why don’t you talk about KV1 PPSH armor PPS
Of course, that’s a problem too. That’s can change the FNAB to 800ROF and place it on BR3. For tanks, it’s not as serious as BR5 thanks to Pz4H. Because it can make penetration not difficult and the average infantry kill rate is similar because the firepower is similar. In fact, IS-2 has a bigger problem infantry kill rate. (Too Low)
All things considered, I want you to realize that having high penetration and just the right size warhead is huge. 88mm is the second most powerful warhead after Ho-Ri 105mm. (Even considering the reload speed)
The reason why Ho-Ri is the most powerful is that it’s a huge warhead, but the speed of reloading plays a part. (I don’t know if it did that because there have two loaders, but it’s unusually fast.)
And if the PPS story is about BR2, then PPS and Urgan are weaker than Automatico. Veteran GE users have the edge rather with it. If this gun feels bad, it’s purely a skill issue. It’s the most powerful SMG in all faction in BR2. (Of course, I’m thinking these days that it could be pushed to the second because of the Type 100 early.)
Wait what?
I have never seen a single claim that T-44 was used in WW2.
Read a dodgy claim about once near Berlin which Im not sure I beleive, but 2000 of them were made as far as Im aware, and considering how the soviets would use anything they could get their hands on, that wouldnt surprise me.
Otherwise 3 were meant to have served with the 100th special tank detachment(cant remember the exact unit, but it was one of those trial unit deals) or etc for combat testing in Manchuria.
Which I would beleive since they were often seen as the precursors or basis for the later T-54.
Otherwise they were mainly used as a training instrument as far as Im aware.
