Doubtful? I mean unless she was using an MG at waves of enemies? How do they confirm them? Do they go count the bodies after the battles? In the heat of battle you might add few extra or not count some.

59 is more realistic than 309. so i think Roza Shanina did make 59 confirmed kills, Not to mention Roza was Killed in action.
Look at how many divisions were in the Eastern Front and how many were engaged elsewhere.
In Africa core Rommel has 3 divisions (40-48k men) in 1941.
Eastern army in 1941: 140+ divisions (3.3 million men) + Axis allies (380k Romania, 450k Finns) = >4 million, + Hungarians, + Italians, +Slovakians, +even f Spanish division.

If USSR doesn’t grind millions upon millions of axis forces, Normandy is never left basically unguarded, western front is never/much later opened, and the war goes even more bloody and longer (although USSR in the end most likely wins because Germany is on the back foot since Stalingrad/failure of Barbarossa).
