Add some juice to the low BR games

If I rememeber correctly - we have some Pacific maps where you can pick japan lunge mine and use it.

Why not to use this mechanic in some different way - place some high BR weapon(kinda prototypes) in some crates in BRI-III games, so ppl would be able to get several cool weapons(with full ammo) in some random places(away from the points, to prevent defenders advantage).

This will prevent some braindead straight line push and will reward players those prefer to attack from unusual ways.

So instead of fighting the cap people wanders everywhere except at cap points searching for loot box ?
Sounds quite alot like the current zombie event that became boring after 2 games.

No, that’s not the case.
I’m talking about those brainless pushers those wasting tickets and going forward at the mg to simply die.
If they will see that there are some rewards for alternative ways usage - this will make them unexpected by defenders and prevent fast death.

Thats pretty much exactly how you win the games.
Build radios, keep on pushing to cap untill you get it.

A hidden loot box ?

Well I definitely wouldnt expect someone to wander in the woods trying to find a box but I wouldnt exactly expect him to achieve anything either.

If we talk about brainless tactics - yes.

If we talk about some serious tactics there are several things you could apply like:

  1. Bombing/shelling
  2. Burning
  3. Smoking
  4. Sniping
  5. Mining
  6. Flanking
  7. Blocking(with engineer or tank)
  8. Paratrooping(with broken removed friendly fire)
  9. Backdooring(with guerillas)

Those could be somehow countered since Enlisted using rock paper scissors mechanic.

But all of them, except flanking, require some special equipment like sniping require sniper rifle and so on.

My idea might boost flanking so there would be less 100+ kills players from one side and 15+ squads wasted players from another side.

Also burning your access routes? Thats counter productive…

Smoking is fair, its just a shame its such a niche grenade so I only have one soldier carry them and idk how he always seems to be the first to die.

Sniping? Really? Your part of the reason why I have to cry sometimes.

Mining on the attack is actually really unappreciated ill give you that, can blunt any attempts to restorm the position.

Flanking rallies yes. Flanking without rallies? Eh kinda not.

Tank Blocking is unbelievably OP, its what I use most low BR jap tanks for because they are otherwise useless. Just an “uparmoured” APC with a 5 man SMG squad, block an entrance on the opposite side to yours and dismount.

Paras are beyond my F2P limits sadly, and guerrillas are kinda hit or miss, most people use them , admittedly as intended, to just spawn camp tanks with TNT packs.

Also no sniping can be done fairly easy with BA’s, the ranges are so short in game its really not that bad. Ofc easier with a sight but is in no way required.

Last of all, lord no, friendlies “flanking” is already a major issue with teams, “flanking” and “sniping” and the single most common reasons that you lose games. It annoys me to no end that I have to give up how I want to play, (ie. Flanking to the sides with a HMG squad and just enjoying the giggle factor), if I want to get any actual RP or silver I instead have to hold the point with all I have with maybe 1 or 2 friendly squads vaguely on the point where as 70% of the team is either not spawned in or is fucking off to Mordor.

A far better way to encourage better teamplay is up building rallies to a +50 score reward with a cooldown of at least 1 minute in-between. That and buffing score for either attacking or defending on the point, whether that be a constant tick on the point or be in the form of increased bonuses for kills while on the point, you decide. That and more score for building in general, some points go from unholdable to unbreakable with sufficient building.

Imagine flanking in BRI, find some BRV mg with 100/100 ammo and brrr the entire point?

Imagine a new player facing that every match. Hell anyone facing that.

More gimmick items are good, what youve suggested is nothing short of retarded however, I lack words to describe it otherwise. Not to mention completely against the spirit of both the BR system and the game itself.

If you want to add something, add stuff like farmers shotguns maybe depending on the map.

Well this should be implemented after “kindergaden” prolongation, as what I proposed here.

So new player won’t be bothered.

Even still, its not a fun experience for anyone, its just especially bad for new players. Like I get your going for the BF1 style hero unit, but not for this game, doesnt really fit.

Adding funny gimmick items are however good, like a tractor or farmers shotgun. Maybe special melee tools like a pitchfork or something. Oh that note shovels need to be able to be used in melee, its criminal they cant.

I think you have just described my normal playing style.

First the Lunge mine is a piece of equipment not a BR weapon. Thats why you can find them laying on top of boxes in some Pacific Maps. Secondly, Adding Higher BR weapons randomly into lower BR Matches would not be a “Fun” mechanic. These weapons completely outclass the lower BR weapons. It’s bad enough that BR1 still has to deal with matches that overly favor BR2 and their high-end tanks that are pretty much indestructible to BR1 tanks. Now you’re suggesting that the match randomly has a BR5 weapon thrown into the map? :person_facepalming: Theres a reason why they split the tech tree the way that they do. Please think before making a suggestion like this again
