Add self propelled artillery

like i wrote before check those topics about old mortar. than double or triple the AOE range of those mortars and you will get SPA. ffs at best case scenario SPA will have 75mm guns and at worst they will have 203mm guns. do you think this can be anywhere balanced specially with rather small caps on most maps? and with SPA designed to fully operate from gray zone with unlimited ammo?

any vehicle that can fully operate from gray zone is bad. at least tanks must have direct line of sight.

also big problem for SPA which i would assume you would want to work as indirect fire weapons is that they need to have minimum range for indirect fire and that would be somewhere in ballpark of 2-3km on flat road and somewhat less if you elevate it on some hill. even with elevation i think that playable area of the map would still be out of minimum range for indirect fire for most SPA.

I mean we all know tank HE is not as powerful as it should be so I’m sure they would tweak the SPA where it will still be effective without wiping entire sectors

By indirect fire I mean how you rely entirely on luck when firing the weapon. When you fire a mortar it lands in a random spot within a certain diameter. That’s basically the same for SPA. Not every shot is a guaranteed kill. Its all about chance of an enemy being in the right spot at the right time

In before but the capture point. Then why should we have mortars, artillery, or anything else because they can basically spam the point. Obviously not every time you’re going to be targeting the capture point. You still have the whole enemy advance
