Add the british (officially, not technically) and Canadians in the Normandy campaign, maybe the French too, and ANZAC in the pacific.
Also a new campaign, probably the Allied invasion of Italy or Battle of the Bulge.

Yeah, we need more “campaigns” for west allies and some mid tier maps for Soviets.
Plus I would love to see map inspired by Hurtgen forest. It could be cool af. Just completely destroyed forest full of mud and dirt everywhere.

Now that it’s going to be about “nations” rather than “campaigns”, how do you think we should consider those mentions of “new campaigns in new format”?
So far it was new campaign = CBT with early access pack (or Stalingrad). Which, I assume, is the paradigm that will be applied to any new nation added to the game.
But how are they supposed to commercially handle new “campaigns”, if campaigns as we know them will be no more?
I just thought they will add map and few corresponding branches of equipment that would somewhat match it.
I don’t think they need to add more nations necessary.
i guess most likely will have to do with new weapons, new maps and perhaps new vehicles that were used specifically in a campaign.
it will works like older campaigns, but instead, those will get introduced as a major content in the main line up through out updates.
if i have to guess, either battle of france, or… many others.
because there are quite many campaigns left

It would be better to just fill up Japanese/merican/soviet tech trees first.
I think they would specifically tell us they’re planning add new nation. There’s no reason for not hyping it.

it would sound smart to add “small” content each update. such as war thunder. where every update some vehicles / aircrafts get added.
but that doesn’t make much sense if they reffear to a " campaign ".
you are not gonna release one or two " things " and call it campaign content in a new format.
hence, that’s why it’s more probably that will get added in the main line
( unless they mean they are going to add a new tech tree )
maybe they do.
because there are alot of early equipment still " hidden " in the game.
such as the sdkfz 6, HE pistol launcher, other french weapons etc. but that’s speculation on my part.
which once again, a new campaign under a new format doesn’t mean adding already existing one. ( or maybe they do. since USA end tier looks lacking )

If new Nation was planned this year, they would certainly mentioned it in roadmap.
New campaign in new format with brand new nation.
But they did post just new campaign in new format instead.
I just don’t believe we will see new nation this year. But that’s just my opinion/guess.
And I don’t think new campaigns will add new nations in most cases.
Imo Like warthunder but with extra step
whatever new faction is added for the first couple months is only playable if you buy the faction pack with the excuse of testing and support the development and is heavy BR restricted

each new faction come with a new map and for the first time beign heavy BR restricted is able to play only in the new map, f2p or who dont want buy the pack can play on that map selecting the appropriate BR of the enemy side of the new faction

Which makes sense on paper… But since the new system is going to take 99% of the choice of theatre/map away from players, there’s little point in hyping new maps or location for commercial purposes.
“Buy the preorder pack to gain early access to the new Italian/French/Chinese/whatever maps, that you may perhaps randomly play, but also maybe not”.
I agree this is how it will be with new FACTIONS. But about new “campaigns”?
