Definitely much faster than it used to take. 
Adding old Golden Weapons to Silver box is a must.
Same can be said about premium squad that no longer are sold.
Just treat them like premium content… the guns needed to be unlocked with money after all so demanding to get the same but for free is a bit silly.
Also those weapons where locked away as compensation for the SG full access bonuses beeing gutted with the merge so I doubt they will ever do that.
I would prefere if they get their own box dedicated to BP items instead of just beeing added to the same 3% pile with all the event ones.
Previous premium squads have periodically returned to the store for purchase. Past event squads have also returned through limited-time Loot Boxes. Therefore, a box for old content is reasonable.
Alternatively, reintroduce the entire campaign tech tree, allowing players to re-research these squads and weapons, like the Stalingrad pack as a paid DLC. After purchasing, players can qualify and spend a few days researching the squads (using the same experience points as before the merge).
This way, we’d at least have something to do and could complete the needed squad lineups. The game’s lack of new content is really boring right now.
Exept it realisticly only are the same few squads that are beeing rotated in and out. There are way more squads that simply do no get sold anymore at all even if demand for them would be there.
Like the german BAR squad has been returned for a fifth? time now but good luck if you want to buy the jadgpanther or the flammer squads so far.
Event stuff is not equal paid premium stuff…
