Add Loot Boxes containing old weapons and old squads

I’m thinking we may need to add a Loot Box costing around 1,000 to 5,000 silver coins, primarily containing old squads and weapons(they are completely different boxes that do not include special squads and weapons),. I’ve considered some benefits.

1.Balance the Experience for New and Veteran Players:

New players joining after the campaign merge lack many key squads, and even with numerous vehicles, they cannot deploy them due to missing squads. This gives veteran players a significant advantage. For example, veterans can cycle Panzer IV or Soviet KV/T-34 tanks at BR3, while new players are limited to a single tank. Old squads offer unique tactical value, putting new players at a disadvantage. Providing access to old squads via Loot Boxes can reduce this gap and decrease player churn.

2.Satisfy Old Players’ Demand for Reacquiring Squads, Enhancing Collection and Entertainment Value

Many veteran players, due to early resource shortages or unfamiliarity with game mechanics, sold valuable old squads for silver coins. Now, they wish to recollect these squads to build thematic “full faction lineups” (e.g., all-Italian or all-British squads) for immersive gameplay or historical reenactment . Adding Loot Boxes with old squads offers veteran players a remedy, allowing them to recollect cherished squads.

3.Adding Loot Boxes with old squads is a low-cost, short-term solution that quickly provides players with new goals, extending the game’s lifecycle.

Previously, similar suggestions were made, but some cited technical difficulties. Now, on Enlisted’s Chinese servers, Loot Boxes containing old squads and weapons have appeared. New players face significant disadvantages due to unobtainable items like the Soviet Breda Mod.30 machine gun and MP717r, among many squads. Meanwhile, some veteran players who sold squads for silver coins during shortages lack a way to repurchase them. History enthusiasts also seek more squads for immersive roleplay. For the developers, this provides a use for silver coins, offering players new goals after completing the tech tree, increasing retention. This is a near-win-win for all.

it would be nice to get some loot boxes for 5k silver each with a chance to get a squad or weapon

Definitely yes cuz i need a few squad too what didn’t cant catch from the event cuz of my duty

The loot boxes are fine, however unless your extremely lucky or have half a million silver laying around, your more then likely going to get repeatedly hosed. The best thing I have ever won in the mystery box was 1,000 silver, and I’ve done that three times. So, spending 15,000 silver to win 3,000 IMOP was not a good use of my silver.

I would much rather see DF go to a 25,000 or 50,000 loot box where you’re GURARANTEED to get a weapon or squad, not some vastly reduced silver take or some token decorator that does me absolutely nothing useful. :joy: No, I 'm not much of a gambler as in life, I worked to hard for my money to just piss it away.

So I think we could make these old weapon or squad boxes cheaper (they are completely different boxes that do not include special squads and weapons), or increase the drop rates. Even if we provide more old weapons, many players really need the Soviet Breda Mod. 30 machine gun to replace the poor Soviet Madsen machine gun.

and how much silver can i pay to get a look box that is guarantied to drop a premium squad, 100k 200k otherwise you are just targeting veteran ftp. What do vetter4an players get who did not sell pre merg squads.

Get ready for 3x rope hammers, 5x japanese katanas, halloween clown squads and bloody gun skins

I need more square for more br. only 3 square limit my list

Compared to this, the new squads are more interesting. There haven’t been any new squads on the tech tree for a long time.

Yep, I have majority of legacy squads. Yet I am in desperate need for more squads just to create more lineup presets for various BRs.

Indeed, current events and missions provide many vehicles, but there are no squads to deploy them, making the return of old squads a great idea.

Having many historically existing troops for players to choose from and use has always been a major feature of this game.

But since the “merger” incident, DF has been intentionally limiting the number of squads for new players, which not only abandons the game’s own characteristics, but also further worsens the experience for new players.

I also posted about it a long time ago, but the response I received was that those old squads could not come back due to “balance” and “technical” issues.I initially believed this statement.

But now that the Chinese version has returned to the vast majority of the old squads, the explanation about technical reasons is obviously not valid. The further strengthening of air power by jet aircraft has also made the tank cycle lose its previous absolute suppressive power.

Now allowing the old squads to return in various forms can actually retain a portion of the losing player group. It depends on whether DF is willing to do this.

Yes, I strongly support this proposal.

Loot Boxes may not be accepted by everyone, but there should at least be ways to obtain old squads to balance the gap between new and veteran players. Offering a direct purchase option or reintroducing them to the tech tree could also work.

Please have the administrator submit this to DF.

Yes, when first time merged the tech tree, i sold the teams because they thought they were worthless. Now to changes different BR teams found that the team is relatively short, every time change a different BR team to re-replace the weapons, If I had more teams, I wouldn’t have wasted this time.

Ok so how do we bridge the gap between f2p and p2p. No really it seems like rewarding newer f2p now how do reward you know the people who have stuck with the game. Otherwise it’s p2p vets number one, new p2p number to new f2p in third and bet f2p on the bottom .

Veteran players have a clear advantage with many powerful event squads and weapons. Acquiring them costs silver coins, requiring significant time and effort. New players may have more playtime than veterans and shouldn’t be penalized for joining later. Many veterans also need more squads。

pay to players have an advantage over free to players what is your point. unless you are willing to erase all advantages you are by default punishing vet players. also the vets had to play and unlock those squads they were not given for free. I have said many time create new squads that can be earned instead of stealing them from vets. or compensate vet players somehow how for supporting the game with there time.

It’s disappointing that you don’t measure it by playtime or effort, but instead believe it’s a privilege you deserve for joining earlier.

again please read i joined earlier and played since then, and no more a privilege then people get for paying for premium time and content. time is money and money is time if there was no way to buy these things you would be right. people pay for premium squads, weapons ect with cash i paid with my time. if you just target vets but not paying players you are saying your time means nothing give me cash or everything you ear can be gained by others. again read my post i have no opposition to people gaining more squads just not the squads i earned.
