Add Female Soldiers

I beg of you who read this, please read it fully before making any comments!
Ok, so - first of all I want to say, don’t view my suggestion from a feminism/anti-feminism standpoint.

Number 1 - While this game tends to be realistic, it’s a well established fact that it is just a game, and that things can be added in it without it being actually real. Games are for fun.

Number 2 - Females are already in gaijin games (including WarThunder).

I would like to see an ability to pick the sex of our soldier. Simply that, like you can in Cuisine Royale. I know, Cuisine Royale isn’t really a “simulation” type game like WT and Enlisted, but still.

I would like to see this ability on all sides, not only on the Soviet and German sides.
Historically, there is not a reason to include it but who knows, many women possibly crossdressed to fight and were never discovered, possibly indistinguishable from the 16-20 year old boys who joined the armies. Still, this is a mute point now.

No I’m not looking for customization beyond the point of changing the soldier’s sex. No , I’m also not looking for it to be an all-female game nor looking for it to be an overly-huge breasted anime girl shooter game. Just normal women, in uniform, fighting alongside men. Simple.

If you want to flame this topic with “But that’s not realistic” or with “But girls shouldn’t fight” or with “Let’s make transgender soldiers too” etc.

Regarding soldiers of color, you could randomly add them in American and New Zealand units (African-Americans, Aborigines), Soviet, Chinese and Japanese units (Asians and Monghols, obviously).

Regarding LGBT soldiers, I am well aware that LGBT people have no special external attributes. They are people, so a gay male/les female soldier would look same as a straight male/straight female soldier. - This topic isn’t meant for that.

While I’ve read a suggestion here about adding more “feminine” men… I dunno, why not? Not every guy is Arnold Schwarzenegger and neither is every girl Kim Kardashian. A variety in looks is cool, but too much variety can be difficult to achieve with MMO games. - This topic isn’t meant for that.

I want to also refer to point #2 that females are already in WarThunder. You can pick a female pilot voice and a female avatar. Although the models of pilots remain unchanged, I believe they did that for simplicity’s sakes because you don’t look at your pilot 99% of the time. In cockpit view, YOU are the pilot. Many pilot models were also re-used, and the same pilots appear in all planes/tanks.

No. Bad arguments.
Just cause there is ONE feamle voice in and some pics in WT and the ability to pick girls in a COMPLETLY different game doesnt mean that Enlisted should get them too. Dont even know what I should say to the rest…
Play BFV…

Nice flaming comment. Not worth of replying to it

Looks like someone cant defend his (sry lol) opinion. Shame.

The only female soldiers that should be added are Russian female snipers or the russian night witches (pilots) and that is it. Everything else you stated is just unhistorical feel good PC culture warping history for some political agenda

As I said, don’t view this suggestion as PC/feminism. Not my fault that you cannot read.
I’m not here to “Warp history” neither is this a history lesson. It’s a game. A game like any other that should be played for fun. While it’s a cool way to learn history through games, it’s obviously not a textbook. There are many aspects of this game which are not historical nor realistic.

As stated go play BFV. This is more of a milsim your entire “it isnt historical isnt a defense” crap doesnt holdup as that’s the entire point of the game.

No, go away and play BF5

“Enlisted where you act as an infantry squad leader, tank crew or an aircraft pilot. The weaponry, soldier’s uniform, appearance and capabilities of the vehicles in the game are in line with historical facts.”
But oh wait… 3% of the Red Army soldiers where females…

This game is definitely not a milsim. It’s a milsim-like arcade MMO shooter.

Female combatants - English speaking section / Mess Room - Enlisted

We had a big thread about it already.

First of all, instead of having a civilized discussion you came to this topic to flame and provoke me (proven by the fact you keep calling me “He/him” even though I am a biological female). I understand there is a great deal of the internet and video-games being a very male culture, and I don’t mind it until you start insulting around like this. This topic was meant for a suggestion to add different models to a GAME. Not a topic discussing the historical accuracy of it, definitely not a topic promoting feminism. Just don’t flame the topic and move on - You’ve already said you disagree with my suggestion. I respect your opinion.

Yes I saw it and it came down to “but it’s not historically accurate” and “boohoo femenism”. This one is made to harshly deal with such attempts of flaming. There will be no discussion about feminism, historical accuracy, warping and political agendas here.

There are some wierd weapon and vehicle choices, but as you can see big part of the community is agaist them (examples like Pz III B in Moscow, Panter F in Berlin etc.)

And what would prevent players from creating fully female squads? So then we would have possibility to have battlefields where at least 50% of soldiers are women. Enlisted tries to recreate atmoshpere of real WW2 battles, I really don’t know how that would be any close to real atmosphere

Only Russians have confirmed cases of women fighting alongside men in direct combat, but for most of the time not even on the frontline (there were snipers, pilots, few tank crew soldiers, partisans). Women were 3% of Red Army personell, and that inclodes paramedics, nurses, doctors etc.

So you just don’t want major and crucial argument that is against involvement of female soldiers and see it as “flaming”.

Warthunder is not Enlisted. In WT there are WW2 tanks fighting with Cold War tanks, but I don’t think that would be good in Enlisted, don’t you think?

If the Nation had them why not

The market dont wanna have another inflation of females in WW2 games. Look at BFV… look at your post(s). NOBODY liked them and nearly no one defends your position. Praise the market, Miss. The market is wise and thats the reason why they will never add females aside as possible gold squads.

You can’t have disscussion about “introducing new female models” to a game like Enlisted (that is advertised as realistic) without argument about historical accuracy. That just can’t work. I really don’t want to flame here.
Female soldiers just don’t fit the setup of the game. It isn’t even (at least not in my case, I don’t speak for the others) fighting “bohoo feminism”. Big part of the community came here after fail of BFV looking for the game that would be realistic and accurate, but at the same time more “player friendly” than milsims like Post Scriptum or Hell Let Loose. Arcady mechanics and wierd vehicle/weapons choices don’t justify ignoring history completely and putting female soldiers on the battlefield not only for Russia, but for all nations.

I don’t feel like implemanting females into the game in a way you wants is good. We will most likely gets some kind of a premium squad like soviet sniper squad.

Like we have in War Thunder where we have some kind of a anime helicopter.

Soliders in US and USSR are alredy diverse this just proof you have not been playing the game or just playing germany.
