Add escort XP. If you in a fighter plane stay with a bomber within 1km distance you will get 20xp per bomber achieved kill.
This way there will be atleast some point to protect bombers like the JU188, since for each kill you can get 20xp. And bomb yourself if you have bombs, just stick close to the bomber to get the escort XP
But isnt kamikazing and respawn as Infantry is easier than just spending 30 seconds flying toward refilling point?
Depends. The P-47 has better outputs if you use it long-term wise. Suicide-bombing a camping Jumbo or a cp overrun by attackers as A-20 or SB… maybe.

there is no point in dogfighting for 200 xp, when the next bomb/rocket run can give 1000

TLDR it’s not happening because it can be abusively farmed to gain XP by doing nothing.
You are also pretty much not doing anything while “escorting”
You could be attacking points and killing the enemy as infantry, at worst you could be wasting a slot for a much better plane
But if you are attacking, suiciding/respawning does cost you team some tickets, right?

Yes, from wat i know planes and tanks cost more tickets than infantry
Yes and no. If a bomb/rocket strafe wastes lots of defenders around the point, your team can move.
