While it’s not needed immediately, a clan system would be awesome. Though a more fitting name could be divisions or some other military name.
In addition a local voice chat would be cool. It could really make some amazing games.

You don’t add clans, they make themselves, and there’s a few about already.
I am starting to be of the opinion, people playing in stacks = clan mentality anyway, as they using same sort of tactics, as a clan would, when playing, in a stack, knowing they be facing solo players
Maybe stacks should just play against other stacks?.

i’m not planning into getting clans my self, or perhaps if i do, the most casual and randomic one just for the rewards and promote my own mods most likely ( which there are far more effective methods but eh ), but still.
i think in the future will be a must.

Suggesting adding clans to the game when we literally have no lobby chat is quite interesting.
This game is nowhere near ready for official clan support.
Although I personally believe that clans are inevitable. I doubt we’ll see them anytime soon.
But who knows how hard can Major push his agenda…

If it’s needed at all it can be interesting granted we have clans fight clans more often than solos.
Also there is lobby chat but only voice, and that was on console. idk what else there is.

That problem exists in every multiplayer game, I say it’s simply always present. The mistake games often make is catering to the solos.
If we could add matchmaking for it so it lessens such an impact I am all for it but right now we’re not ready for clans or extra matchmaking beyond BR. Again, writing down a future idea for the future, if this game survives.
As far as I know, it works only if you are already in squad with someone.
Meaning, you can’t even ask someone if he wants to group or not.
Not quite practical.
Oh, that part. Yeah we need a lot more communication. We’ll see if it ever gets added. I hope it does.

i would rather for devs to dedicate their time to actually polishing the game and fixing bugs than introducing new features that will be full of bugs that they will need to fix later.

We (being the clans) are actually in the development phase of a community clan/competitive discord server with scheduled versus events, clan chat rooms, and such
We have around half a dozen clans in the lineup. Once everything is set up there will be announcements on Reddit/forums to gauge interest and get people involved in making a community scene here.

Clans are probably the only way to keep Vets or those that have completed the grind, interest in game up.
personally I hope a clan system is set up quickly, good for coms, teamwork and possible training for the newer players with experienced players… for me its a win win …

If developers will add this then clans should fight only vs other clans. And not queue with solo-players.
haha why not. Always enjoyed having our own clan tag…even if it is just a couple of mates, and not a “real” clan

No. There is no real reason for it. And those that do it now and over 4 players, are just trash that should uninstall. To be really honest here.
