Your system is not consistent.
Why is Med BR the āmain phaseā/ BR where main used stuff is? Why are half of those weapons not even Med/ Main War stuff but things that existed since 1939 or with low production numbers? Why are bolt action rifles not Med BR despite being main service rifles? Why is the G41 in Med BR aka main phase despire having like 20k rifles in total or so? Same applies to the SVT-38. Why is the Mkb in Med BR if the production are also low and not the MP43 or StG? Why are some late war arms and tanks considered as ahistorical since their production numbers are basedon the fact that many of them were produced in 1944 or 45? Why the Ital SA despite having low production numbers (and shitty performace)? Why is the Panther partly in Late BR despite it having way higher production numbers than the Tiger 1 tanks (and have about same performace as a Tiger)?
If any of the answer is ābecause of performanceā then you have it. You are in conflict with service date/ production numbers and performance. And even the historical argument doesnt make sense because half of the stuff were not main weapons.
You cant make a rating for a MM based on two or more values. That just creates a conflicting mess. Let alone it still lets people face underperforming gear (e.g. MP40 vs PPSh or 75mm Sherman vs Tiger 1/ Panther) as the old and current system do.
Like the Soviet made over 3k IS-2s and almost 5k Su-100s.
Like 80% of all weapons. Either the BR system gets updated, or obsolete weapons get buffed so that they might still find a use.
Honestly? I bet at this point neither we the players nor the devs have even the slightest idea about which next step to take.
3 BRs? 6 BRs? Ā±2 vs Ā±1, Ā±0? Or maybe only two BRs, as in early war and late war?
I think that the devs are focusing on other updates like the new Pershing and such, might actually be a smart Idea.
This stuff needs proper time and consideration.

Kiraly and PPSh41 shouldnt be in BR5 tbh, they both need to be moved down to BR4, you are right thompsons are garbage compared to M2 carbine. Baretta m38a (40rder) should be moved to BR3.
