No. In such case, FG would be simply named FMG. But it’s not, since its just rifle for paratroopers. It is not MG for paratroopers, and not even a LMG for paratroopers.
It’s a rifle that was supposed to also have a role of LMG as a “secondary” function. So actually it is essentially “MG for paratroopers” when it serves that role.

and neither is MG39 nor MG42 nor M34 nor MG3.
So stop calling them LMGs.

Yes, technically it’s GPMG but serves LMG role. But some name nitpicking doesn’t make it any less of an LMG.
Also some ppl reffer to this as “… in LMG configuration”. Just like I can reffer to multitool as a screw driver when I use it as a screw driver.

Well, my point is that bipod is definitely not needed. And your main argument for adding bipod was “it’s LMG”.
But it obviously isn’t LMG.
My main point is that soldier would burn his hand when using it.
And I proposed bipod as it’s used in LMG role so it makes sense.
Unfortulately this way I dared to vandalise the Holly Image of MG39 so now I have to fight you guys.
True, currently it’s not in LMG configuration as it would require a bipod or a grip.
But it’s not in HMG configuration or vehicle configuration either. So I guess it’s in “warehouse” configuration and shouldn’t be given to soldiers.
Yeah, I thought we came to conclusion DF should give those soldiers gloves.

The game is clearly a lot more popular in russian speaking parts of the world. At least judging by the forum activity.

On russian forum was even lower numbers for usual topics.
It seems to me that all the activity there is more related to the forum than to the game. All those skidwards and camels. There is nothing like this in the English part.
Numbers in the forum as a whole have become lower. Perhaps this is due to serious game changes when they scared off part of the core and active audience.
