- Add bipod to MG39.
- Give soldiers asbestos gloves to hold the barrel
- Or add tripod to MG39.
- Or add a foregrip and rename it to sStG (schveres Sturm Gevehr).
Chose one as in current state it doesn’t make much sense. In reality this gun would be impossible to use.

Well, HiStoRiCaLlY it didnt had bipods.
But I also remember that historical accuracy is not a real argument in Enlisted.

I mean, I think it’s pretty good as is

It’s as good as implementing Pz4 but without tracks. Either add tracks or a flatbed train wagon.
The choice is yours.
(Gold order skin when DF?)

Oh I misunderstood I thought you were saying it was bad balance wise, sorry

Well, I could argue that historically this wooden japanese tank I can’t remember the name of didn’t have any ammo
Not really. One of the worst MGs, especially at BR4.

Weird that, there’s no attachment point for a bipod…
As opposed to the MG 42 where the bipod is practically a part of the barrel shroud:
(Post war bipod not withstanding)
Also shown in game:
I will say this as many times as I have to: It’s not a goddamn historical issue, the MG 39 still exists, it’s a thing that should be the same regardless of when you put it in a setting. WHEN it appears in a game is a historical issue. If you were to put a bipod on it, you would make something that doesn’t exist, as in you’d have to invent something new, meaning it’s not actually an MG 39 anymore.

Irl it would impossible to use it without one.
Unless it was meant to be a vehicle or tripod mounted only.
Either way, it’s wrong.
(My guess is that it’s a proto version so they didn’t need a bipod.)

I guess it’s not historical argument, but realistic one.
What the hell do you mean…?
Irl it was prototype and nothing more.
You need bipods only for serial weapon not experimental one.
Especially if this is one of the stages in the creation of mg 42.
Irl it’s impossible to use without either:
- bipod
- tripod
- forward grip
So current model is wrong as it would be unusable, even if it pictures show it in this state.

Yeah.
But devs added t to the game as “test” gun so it should be equipped with a bipod as in reality it would be.

Very weak argument
If there wasn’t bipods - there shouldn’t be.
It’s better to open bipods for some weapon on which they are already modeled.

But how could they put a bipod on it without essentially inventing a new gun…?

This weaopn wasn’t meant to be used by troops. So it shouldn’t be in game.
But here we are.
It’s in the game so it’s already ahistorical. Let’s at least make it realistic.

Don’t make sleep man angry by dumbness. Please.
Again, there is a lot of guns which should have bipods and was have irl them. They should get bipods. Not this one experimental pre mg42.
I don’t know what would designers do.
Giving it to troops is basicaly alt-history so probably just coppy MG34 bipod? Or from MG42 as it would have been developed?

Or just left it as it are.
