Don’t need to be fancy, arma style would suffice. Make it so that bipod only deploy when you press the button to brace your gun.
FG 42 with bipod deployed all the time looks nasty.

Even Heroes & Generals, a browser game, managed to make functional bipods that moved along the gun when deployed…
If they could, so should Enlisted.

fold the bypod and give the additional stability bonus when laying down or crouched behind cover, so no animation needed
I like this idea, it would be good for immersion and just looks cool.
It would also help I think knowing when and how your gun is actually mounted, sometimes you’re prone and you’re not sure if B is working or not.
They do need to make it easier to mount any gun on windowsills though. Also the fenders and bonnets of cars/trucks.
