Imagine this scenario.
You are behind a box, using it for cover, and you are also in the middle of the reload. But then the soldier you are controlling decides to peek out for no reason at all. This is why auto lean activating for no reason can be detrimental to gameplay. There should definitely be an option to only enable when you are aiming down sights, especially since that is the way how most video games in the FPS genre have it.
To be fair I don’t really use auto lean, but that is only because of the stupidity of how this feature is implemented. I would 100% start using auto lean again once this is dealt with.
I’d imagine this would be a relatively easy suggestion to implement and it would greatly improve quality of life for many players like me, so please consider.
