Add a realism mode please

As long as there’s SOME SORT of class/powerful weaponry restrictions in a possible eventual realistic mode I’ll be fine.

I do want this mode separated from the one we got now, as I do like to spam mindlessly when I’m tired and turn my brain “off”. Like yesterday I kept spamming my fw 189 in Moscow… because…:smile:

doesn’t make much sense to divide the player base even more, however more realism is always welcomed.

That was maybe one of the worst parts of the game considering the excessive spawn raping (which is still impressive considering the size of the maps. Those Dens are masterminds in terms of map design) which made people wait so much longer to spawn if they died too fast. The system was also weird in terms of “living long enough and spawning back immediately” (which was the main slogan of the entire thing) because the recons always have ass long respawn regardless of how long I survived.

Still, would work in a realist mode. Problem in H&G was that… it was the only mode…

I want two separate modes. The one we already have that I wouldn’t change, and some sort of realistic mode like the one in WT, with some sort of restriction on loadouts. What restrictions? I don’t really mind and I’d let DF choose, as long as a “realistic mode” does NOT allow assaulter/gunner/snipers in rotation.

I dont see that as an issue btu rather that people in general spam too much classes. I do think a general limit of certain squads is better (at max three autos) and if people decide to waste sniper squads is not my issue tbh.

It’s just a general idea. As long as there’s some form of limit I’m good. I don’t have enough data to affirm that “MY idea is the best cause I said so!” (like so many ppl on the forum think).

I just throw in general ideas in the hope DF notice and maybe, just maybe create something along those lines :thinking:

I dont blame people if they come up with proper ideas, not this 0815 “pls fix” things… excluding bipods because that’s just numbers.

Really? I’ve never noticed tbh.
Maybe except when they added lemings bot players.

Some spawns suffered from either being to close to cps/ chokepoints (example the church in village airfield or the airfield spawn there) or were too far away which forced people to use vehicles all the time. And lastly, good old spawn raping of police station spawn in “town” assault.

My favorite is D4-01 where you basically spawn below the bridge with some boats as cover and no ability to spawn vehicles.

These should not be realism mod. These shpuld be the norm for enlisted

Soviets should have unlimited assaulter access though, they would equip entire companies with only Submachine Guns

They could have unlimited access to conscripts and penal battalions however. If you want a GAME, you have to make reasonable suggestions… Like Ro1, and RO2 with limited yet still perfectly balanced AND historical loadouts.

And as for your recoil, I really don’t get why you have so much difficulties using the ppsh41 and family. It’s already a laser that everyone can use effortlessly. Heck if anything they should add MORE recoil to weaponry Soviets use (not the smgs, they’re fine) like the AVS, AVT, Fedorov… Those have such ridiculous recoil modifiers (ask @Euthymia07 ) that they can be used full auto at mid range reliably.

There not difficult to use but compared to the Bretta M38, FNAB-43, and MP-40 they are useless.
In lone fighters the PPSh-41 is decent but it still is outclassed by semi autos at close range, even outclassed by bolt actions on console.

Honestly the best Submachine Gun is the FNAB-43 it shines on Normandy even in long range engagements.

Also i play on such high sensitivity that its hard to not pull the gun into the dirt because firing your gun in this game doesn’t slow down the speed of looking around like in battlefield and cod, and don’t tell me to lower my sensitivity because i couldn’t play on low sensitivity even if you put a gun to my head.

Controling recoil in enlisted is so different from other games and the only way i can control it is to lower sensitivity but like I said I really cant!

Ok. You lost all credibility when you said ppsh41 was useless compared to… FNAB-43…

Moving on.

(If you can’t manage your sensitivity controls, that ain’t really the firearm’s fault…)

So germans should have bots oneshoting everybody who is not behind hard cover.

And murica should have unlimited tanks and planes but infantry should be afraid to leave spawn.

I think that would work better in simulator mode

Arcade would be arcade style gameplay with balance for sweats.

Realistic would be similar to arcade without balance or aim assist, and more realistic elements like slower movement and lower recoil.

Simulator would be very historical with restrictions on loadouts unless said faction had access to said weapons in those quantities.
