There is no difference between team and general chat. There is only a useless chat key and you can’t know whether it’s general or team chat.
Chat is so small that it can’t be seen when playing.
Chat can’t be used while you’re waiting for respawn.
This is a very simple fix and I can’t understand that so much means are invested in that game when you’re not able to give a proper chat. The result is that it feels like you’re playing with bots.
You can keybind your chat though
But i like that you cant chat while youre dead which makes room for your killer to get away before you feed them intel even if i also finds it annoying that i have to wait ^^
Even if it was bad a bad chat would be better than no chat so why should i dont use it?
But i am fine with the chat anyways.
It is. The key is Enter. Because you are not used to press Enter to chat it doesnt mean it is not normal. In many games i have played it is Enter. But you can change the key bindings, why do you want to force the devs to change it for you lazy boy?
I quote myself from another post: “One could assume that it is team chat because a general chat in a competetive game makes no sense because 1. the opponent team can read what you and your mates are going to do and 2. would be abused to insult opponents.”
As Mister Steiner said, dead people dont speak.
So, since we had the same topic in another post 2h ago and now your thread 1h ago i assume we will see another post with the exact same topic in a few minutes?
normal Y and T keys? thats normal?? if you dont like it, you can go to controls and set them for chat, but i think enter is and should be main key for chat
chat is large enough, if only there was a way to see when someone said what and ability to scroll back
what do you mean “normal” Y and T keys
varous games have very diffrent controls
the only real constant in games is WASD for movement and mouse for shooting(some games dont even have that)
and as people said- stop being lazy and rebind your controls of you dont like them
Ok, let us put every subjective perception aside and look at this objectively.
A standard is defined when the majority of people consider it to be correct or the right way.
As far as i know there is no NSO, ISO or even a DIN (the Germans are very meticulous) for “standards in multiplayer games” so the devs can chose their own “standard” for their game.
Your answer is as you said. Where did you see “Y or T”? I wrote Y AND T. There is no way that I can rebind enter to both keys, but you didn’t understand the thread because you didn’t read. So now explain to me how you can ask any casual player to rebind the keys when you’re obviously not able yourself to understand the thread?
