yes the svt and m1 grand fire faster than german counter part g43 and 41 no they had problems that forced them to not fire fast if they did it would jam or something else so it should be in game
Your one to talk, we have been discussing effective fire rate literally the whole time, which factors reliability issues. Also, one of the Gewehr 41 and 43’s main reliability issues is the fowling of the gas system, which would decrease the ROF to a noticeable degree.
We arn’t talking about theoretical rate of fire or cyclic rate. These values are effective rate of fire. How long will it take to get that through your head.
Again, take it up with them. All I’m doing is taking the data they provided and extrapolating

Cuase the only time a gun jams is when there are moving parts. In a semi auto, the only time parts are moving in the gun is between when you press the trigger and a new round is chambered (or during reloads, but that’s not relevant here). When the gun is sitting dormant, then nothing can jam. So it doesn’t matter if you wait 1s or 1 minute between trigger pulls.

Was the point of this not to discuss the historically accurate rate of fire that the devs should set in game based on the precedent they set?
Go look literally anywhere online and you will find the G41 was an unreliable piece of shit, and the G43 wasn’t much better. Why don’t you go find a source that says otherwise?
