In the game, we have an Australian Guerrilla Unit and they don’t have the famous Australian hat, although there are Australian Donation units in the game that have this hat.

They have the assets, make them useable as free appearance options!
Note that there is precedent for this:
The British Army officer’s peaked cap is freely available as an appearance option, it was first introduced with the premium Sten Mk III squad.

those are serge battledressses uniform of the british army.
pretty much used through out the whole war.

I strongly agree. There is far too much equipment that is a waste to make it a premium trophy that no one will use.
Australian hats, commando green hats, paratrooper red hats (even though you can get paratrooper camo with purchase!) ), Bersaglieri’s feathered hat
I am also offended by the needless troop-specific costumes
NKVD blue hats (mainly in Berlin, where you can’t reproduce NKVD equipment except for mortar units due to the lack of hats), German paratroopers’ equipment that can only be used by mortar units, etc.

Yeah the only Australian squad in the tech tree is guerillas. I was very disappointed that their uniforms (which are imo some of the coolest Allied ones) were locked to that squad and as this post is about lack any iconic Australian hats.
I understand guerilla ‘clothes’ being locked for USSR and Germany but for Australia and Japan the uniforms should be freely available for other squads since they are standard army uniforms.
I also agree @kunkun that we get these really specific uniforms (leading to snow camo in maps that dont really have snow etc.) and yet they refuse to make proper uniforms for actual squads and nations.
Like people ask for factions and sub factions and it’s like guys, you can make the Commonwealth and all you need is
- Make the Aus and NZ hats freely available as appearance options (uniforms as well would be great and Make the guerilla uniforms freely useable)
- Add CANADA to existing British battledress (Canadian uniform done!)
- Add turban and ‘Indian’ facial/hand appearance (say 3 different faces) - British Indian uniform done.
I understand it’s not ‘top priority’ (safety is top priority) but when it’s so easy to do why the hell couldnt they just add this as a part of an update? (why wasnt it a part of the Burma update…)
