Why does any discussion around the game in general need to be categorized into one of the playable nation teams?
Where do we go if we do not want to complain about balance or historical accuracy in uniforms, but instead want to discuss a generalized game mechanic?
Is this post going to be anything but questions?

You can make a post in mess room if you want to discuss something general

then maybe the “game discussion” could be change to faction discussion instead?
might cause less confusion possibly
I’ve noticed they will randomly close discussions too if they don’t like what you are saying whether or not its against the rules.
There’s nothing random in the moderation staff’s decisions. Everything happens for a reason. The rules of the forum are vast, but distinct. But I’m sure you’ve read them all so you know that already…
So for discussions which is supposed to be an area where people can discuss what ever mods can just shut it down because they deemed it answered? This allows them to just lock discussions instead of allowing more people to talk about it
If a question is answered, it’s answered. There’s usually little reason to continue the conversation after the fact. If you think a thread has been closed prematurely, you can always PM the mod who closed it to ask why, or even request it reopened. But as I said, there’s always a reason for a mod’s decision, regardless of whether you agree with it or not.
Interesting I didn’t know that’s how discussions worked but mods have final say and I literally cant argue haha.
You can always argue a mod’s decision, but it’s preferred (read: requested) you take it to the PM system, as opposed to arguing it in the forum, as that may land you with a penalty. Calling out moderators and devs in the forums is against the rules.
Understandable not “Airing out dirty laundry” type of deal.

Essentially, yeah. It’s undermining, and disrespectful to the staff, and absolutely not needed in a public forum. Taking it to the PM system avoids all that unpleasantness for both user and staff alike.
