A commander mode in enlisted would really help with all the chaos that happens in match. A commander with the ability to deploy Spy planes, supply drops, and maybe even airdrop vehicles and soldiers would be a massive plus everyone would enjoy playing with and with the ability to order squads to capture objectives, attack squads or vehicles, fortify objectives or key points, and more would be extremely helpful and make matches more fun and immersive while giving a little bit of a xp boost for completing orders.
I be sure, i know if a ever want this, i realy don,t know.
want i like in enlisted is that is a no Stress game, no microfone, no comunity (because you end in a server room whit random people). and a commander would ruin much of fun do the fact we need a microfone to properly operate it.
it,s not that is a bad ideia, not even a bid, it,s that people don,t have the discipline to obey a commander, or do properly team work.
i may be persimists, but it,s only my opnion.
Go play gungame,
or come back and talk about your experience when you’ve played 2 years in a row and hunted AI in repetitive arcade mode
You can almost always come across a scenario in Enlisted where you’re bored and won on one side or can’t win on the other side.
Enlisted now is definitely not a “no Stress Game”, not exactly, not yet.
Most of the time Enlisted game experience is hovering between these two extremes. a monotonous victory, or the desperation that is suppressed at the initial respawn point.
This is the end result of the drab arcade mode’s monotonous hierarchy tree
It`s hard enough to get players to deploy rally points, let alone get them to command an intire battle
A commander mode would be amazing once Enlisted branches out from the at best 20v20 format.
While a commander mode may have some benefits, first please recognize that this is WWII era. A lot of what you are talking about is straight out of Battlefield 2042.
This should be something only available to those with both a high campaign level, and a high player rating. The reason I say this is that with these requirements it will eliminate a lot of potentially bad players that could ultimately cause more harm than good.
As far as what it can actually do: Don’t make it a necessity to have, and Don’t make it overshadow existing squad types.
As far as resupplies, Medics and Engineers already fill this role.
Spy planes would be absolutely detrimental to the game. This isn’t COD.
Airdrop Vehicles (as far as I know) wasn’t really a thing in WWII. Plus it would break the game very quickly, again, look at BF 2042.
Dropping troops in this would be a very fine line, as engineers already make rally points.
So ultimately, the only things it would excel at is receiving and prioritizing information to help teammates. This includes suggesting targets, objectives, and fortifications. Providing route information both of friendlies, and enemies, and keeping important targets marked.
Ultimately: in a game that is already extremely difficult to get even basic forms of teamwork going, I don’t see this feature being overly useful any time in the near future.
I remember commander role from “hell let loose”.
First - for 10- 15 min. no one wants to take the commander seat, because he is afraid of the responsability.
Then (but now with the commander) the team starts to loose, and everybody is insulting guy with the commander role, because he is easiest to blame.
I don’t want this crap here.
