The Medic class has long been derided in this game. Many feel its practically useless with the thousands of ways to die, get shot, get blown up that there’s no point in using them. However a Medic should do their job. When I play Medic I do my job. I heal teammates. When I see a downed ally I rush over to revive him even if he gets killed a few seconds later. I accompany squads and keep them alive as much as I can. I once kept a Soviet Marine alive in a bathroom in Stalingrad, holding back the enemy for so long when we were getting steamrolled every objective, leading to our desperate victory. The Medic is important
However the Best Medic Accolade is only for “Medics” who got the most kills. Most people treat Medics as discount Assaulters. They are doing the exact opposite of a Medic’s job and dishing out death
The Best Medic award should actually be for Medics who do their intended job. Make the Best Medic Award be for Medics who heal and revive the most. This may incentive more players to actually play Medics and do their job
