I think any “proper” birthday should be like the start of the crowd-funding year of 2016… First time they publicly disclosed this project.

because OATs happened only a few times, pre birth is no gameplay same with crowdfunding, and CAT had only select few like me playing at certain times, while CBT was open to the public 24/7 for a price
