Not to mention those who spent gold on extra slots for squads in multiple campaigns such as Normandy, Berlin, and Moscow will now retain only 1/3 of what they paid for since the Germans (and others) are becoming 1 faction. If this update goes through I believe it is necessary to make separate loadouts for the nations that are spread across multiple campaigns, a different one for every campaign. Otherwise there will be a multitude of squads (including premium squads) that can not be used because there is not enough room in the loadout.
It’s about what was available then, what they could have been equipped with. what tech was made and available at that point. but yes I would be even more for removing those inaccuracies aswell.
And you still don’t get it. Doubt you understand what immersion means.
And the new progression and matchmaking have been attacked in multiple comments all over post.
It’s shit, we already know, we many here who played War Thunder for years. we know exactly what this system brings and weill be outcome. It’s trash and ruins game completely
I think the best idea would be to just let the squads and campaigns be and unify only the research trees. That way we could have separate campaigns with historic restrictions in weapons for each, but we wouldn’t have to unlock the same weapon few times. Of course You would have to separate squads unlocking from weapons research tree and balance it in some way (maybe you have to collect more exp for each weapon, and the exp is common for all the German, Russian, Japanese etc squads)
@1942786 PLEASE have some sort of distinction between each of the campaigns, some sort of limitations as to what weapons and vehicles can go where BEYOND the silly WT-type BR system. I enjoy playing Enlisted because the game is clearly divided into campaigns, with limitations on what weapons and vehicles can be there based on the historical record, while still allowing for asymmetric matchups within a historically accurate context. Making it a BR type system will make everything more homogenized and remove asymmetric matchups. I loved going on a daring flank with a light tank and somehow managing to take out an enemy medium tank, I loved having to figure out how to take out a flamethrower while myself only having a rifle and a grenade. Turning it into War Thunder will remove this, and remove historical authenticity from the game. Not to mention the uniforms! I love the fact that late-war settings have M44 field uniforms for Germans, M43 Gymnastorkas for the USSR, etc.! If you homogenize all the uniforms into “summer - winter - desert” we’ll start seeing nonsense like M44s in Stalingrad, M36s in Berlin. Please reconsider this system and implement it in a better way. Moreover, what will become of the units being based on real life divisions and regiments? Will that be thrown out the window too?
Not sure if my question will get seen as I am late to the party, but can we get an option to be able to “restart” on the progression while keeping our currency (Namely gold). I have pretty much unlocked most stuff already and it would be nice to start again on the new system without having to make a new account
I’d like to know if ground vehicle collision detection against infantry will be fixed any time soon - they just get pushed out of the way instead of receiving damage. This has been an issue for a while now, and really needs to be addressed.
Yeah, i like the asymmetry too, now people will scream ‘‘SEALCLUBBING’’ at the top of their Lungs as soon, as someone says that. It’s the difficulty of the game that makes Enlisted so good and satifying and I also had to get better at the game. There are enough easy WW2 games that have been dumbed down and made easier for the casual players. The good thing about Enlisted is the challenge of being faced with an enemy that has a stronger weapon and overcoming it.
It has been missing for soooo long, I want to squish people again. It was literally part of my moving tactics to orun people over that i had downed to save ammo.
I’d like to reset progress in exchange to XP coupons and new currency. So I can think what I want to do with new system, without having random parts of it researched.
Regarding the Eastern Front campaign, the missions you get to play will be based on how far you progressed in your weapons research tree. For example, if you just started, your missions may be limited to Moscow, but later any missions will be available during the matchmaking, giving you more options for play.
This is how I understand it.
Please ensure that the developers have taken into account the new mechanism for rationalising the construction of engineer regiments with anti-tank guns that would have varied from campaign to campaign, I don’t want to see the Soviet and German armies having to deal with King Tigers and is-2 with small calibre 50±mm anti-tank guns.
There are also concerns about the misuse of the glass ball incendiary firing positions. Hopefully the devs will take this into full consideration.
what will happen to the weapon campaing transfer?
I wonder if this will break 1000 posts.
There will be none. Because you Grind per faction, not campaigns anymore.
Axis
Soviets
Us
Japanoids
Etc
uh…what?
Japanistas
And germoids
And sovietistas
My abs were blown up.
Hi, I’ve rarely if ever commented on the Enlisted forum so i hope that by doing so it’s noted! One of the aspects I and I think others enjoy is picking and yes grinding through the campaigns as released. I have invested a LOT of time and money into the very aspects you’re now suggesting are removed. I feel strongly that participating in separate campaigns and gradually earning better/different squads and technology roughly matched to that campaign historical context is one of the aspects that actually makes the games what it is and why we play it! I don’t want to be matched to ‘equal’ players where I only get to see Kar98s or Springfields, I want to fight with those above and below me within the campaigns and I get to choose what squads and weapons I take which frequently aren’t always the high end campaign tree ‘rewards’ Also most of my investments in Premium Squads whilst relevant in their campaign setting lose their worth when set against a pool of any maps and you remove any form of historical accuracy!
For veterans players with already unlocked campaigns this is no problem, when you come here as new player its not that fine.
