About Fg 42 2 and AVS 36

Hello. I came from russian forum and i want to know your opinion.
Which gun is better? Fg 42 2 or AVS 36? Which gun do you want to buff?

Shouldn’t be this weapon compared to first FG-42 and not FG-42 II?

FG42 II is a great close quarter combat weapon and AVS is a marksman weapon

AVS 36 has a lot of visual recoil and makes the camera shake a lot I definitely prefer FG42-2

You’re not supposed to be using that thing in close quarter combat that’s what the PPSH is for

on list they have same recoil.
And many of players in Russia are prefer AVS, not AVT.
Cuz they have same rpm, and recoil (may i mistake) and AVS have more damadge then AVT

dispersion values favor AVT and I think AVT has less actual recoil and if you play with both you can see that AVT is better of 2 option and like I said AVS has very high visual recoil that might cuase you to lose track of your target

I still use AVS in my squads, usually I have one designated marksman at the end of squad for long range shooting while the rest of infantry has AVT or Fedorov.

I have a similar deck with Germany but instead of Fg42 which is just a worse version of Fg42 II, I have G43 equipped on my marksman.

AVT has always been better than FG42s while Fg42 (both) are only slightly better than AVS, mostly because of bigger mag and better sights. But than again AVS stays relevant even in end game so its an orange vs apple comparison.

IMO better sights, I have always used it and memorised the recoil pattern, I never liked ZH enough to upgrade it to max while I have maxed G43.

Neither.

Really, why would any of them require a buff.

(Also, I’m more of a AVT40 guy)

My life hack is having a radio operator equipped with both Fg42 and G43 since they can’t have backpack anyway.

I never upgraded the G43 to full stars. And I had the same problem with it as I did with the G41. When you shoot too fast, it’s like the dispersion is 1000% percent greater than when you shoot normally. And then you miss a target that’s maybe a meter away.
I’ve never had this problem with the ZH. But since I somehow haven’t used these rifles much, I’m wondered why you prefer the G43. You’re right about the sights tho.

Just check real recoil value and it should be clear which gun is handicapped.

True, but I have good trigger discipline and had easy time practicing G41 on Stalingrad bots.
