No. BA already have a possibility to one-shot and ignore vitality when maxxed to 17+ damage. That’s enough for a starter and temporary noob weapon. What happened in Stalingrad is a disaster, there is no reason to use any gun other than MkB, PPSH(also dogshit but adequate for CQC) and BA with their fantasy anti-tank rifle damage. As a result there are 2 types of people - mkb monkeys and BA campers, don’t need that in other campaigns, especially if they bring rest of the changes along with the BA buff.

Fuck any perks then, +200% medkit heal and additional stamina also too cringe. Or it only goes one way for you?

Get the 50% chance downed perk, of wait it stops you from having recoil and reload perks for your automatic spam

Wich ba can be maxed out to have 17 damage? certainly not the kar98, nor the mannlicher. Not sure about the mosin or the americans ba.
Plus if we are talking about meta guns, every campaign has its own, at certain level it has not point in using other than the ppsh/ppd, mp43, and so on.
increase the damage of BA is good, at least for my, because new player woudn’t be automaticly steamrolled by high levels. And there’s alot of new players.

Probably will, thankfully. It’s in “testing” phase in Stalingrad atm.
You forgot BA monkeys, like me. Bolt actions in Stalingrad are great, like they should truly be, and I assault with them over the mkb/Avt or ppsh. 
Good thing most are in favor of importing bolt actions specs from Stalingrad in other campaigns, I will love it.

Yeah, for a simple reason that they turned ppsh, AVT and mgs into garbage. If you agree to what they did to those guns I have nothing to tell you, I will leave game the moment they introduce that schizo recoil. I’m personally also not using anything other than MkB or BA in Stalingrad, everything else is fully ruined

Recoil is really mild, even if Stalingrad… Maybe because I learnt how to use Moscow Kiraly effectively, I find it not too bad at all for smgs. Stalingrad Kiraly version isn’t really good over point blank range, thought.
I remember times when weapons that required good aim were concidered pro weapons, and weapons that based on spray and pray were concidered noob weapons.
What has changed since then?

No BA cannot do twice as much damage as a machine gun of the same caliber.
They can be more accurate and slightly more lethal (as they already are)
The machine gun has to be better than the BA, not worse

First of all it is not realistic, and secondly it kills the class SMG and MG.
Rifles carry classes that have extra advantages, and machine guns and SMGs carry classes whose advantage is their weapon.
If BAs become better and machine guns and SMGs become worse, why should I use machine guns?
Sorry, but two times BA damage over machine guns is fantasy.
I don’t mind it being that way in Stalingrad, I didn’t buy it for that reason. But don’t touch the campaigns where I invested money and time.
I don’t need it. I have about half a dozen friends who feel the same way.

But MGs are dead because of stamina drain. So now they are double dead? 
Benefits of rifleman class are:
- rifle grenades
- M2 / FG42 / AVS / almost an accest to STG
Yeah, “extra advantages” is a nice way to say “ability to spam weapons that they shouldn’t even have acces to and rifle grenades”.
I guess @Conscript_Joe suggested to make it harder to snapshot. It would make SMGs still a better option in CQC (even though they still are good imo).
As for MGs, many claimed they are dead anyway so why bother?
I’d accept ability to HOK with MG with joy.
(Also notice that the guy is carrying a lafette mount on his back if I’m not mistaken.
Probably for MG42 as he has loose ammo belt on his neck. I can dream heh.)

If you don’t understand that the weapons of those soldier classes, which have their plus weapon, should be stronger than those of classes with additional skills, then you don’t understand game design at all.
Then give stormtroopers grenade launchers, flamethrowers, hammers to build and then try to equalize the weights.
If you like BA play Stalingrad. I don’t like them and neither do my friends. I did not buy Stalingrad, voted with my money.
I do not need a fantasy where a rifle has 30 damage, and a machine gun of the same caliber 12.
BA is an entry level weapon, that’s where it belongs.
